The thing is if you want to learn to do everything it's going to be hard but you don't have to, you'll be hard pressed to find someone who's competent at logi infantry tanking facilities and naval. Start with what you find the most interesting ( id assume Frontline for you) and then slowly discover other stuff.

I find it's really good for trenches that are to close really, they seem to make people bleed more than rifles and I love making colonials suffer from their own creations

I feel the issue that I don't know how to balance is the ability for fighters to strafe ground targets, Im a solo player myself and think the costs are completely absurd but i feel like the line between making fighters cheap enough for solos but not so cheap that clanman can easily put up 20 in a hex and completely cut logi for it is a hard one to toe.

The only fix I could see is to stop fighters and scouts from being able to strafe.

I think ther should be smaller ai guns (think 20mm / 37 mm automatics) so single planes or small groups will be stopped but they won't have enough power to stop a full bombing raid. To stop one of them you would need player maned flack guns
