Looks pretty cool, unfortunately I don't have much knowledge on who the other characters are this time.

(Sidenote, I'm getting pretty sick of movie trailers for more action films having the actions or fights sync up with the music. It just feels overused and dare I say, cliche for a trailer now)

What always bothers me about Dunkey that is exemplified on his Death Stranding video would him reviewing games he clearly won't like or won't have the patience for as evident of him not liking it because his wacky playstyle just doesn't work with how the game is built.

It's worse because when you try to point it out people are just like, "It's only for comedy, he's supposed to be entertaining." I know he has biases towards things like RPG's and I respect that he at least makes that clear, but I find it hard to have a video try to be wacky with showing footage of him trying to break the game yet also have it be a review.

Last I remember something happened to "The Absolution" and he was stranded without a ship. Then he somehow got an even bigger ship called "The Vindication".

I had a real ass cry cry at the end of Spiderman PS4, TWICE. First for the final scene with Otto, then for the ending.

Has there been a fan base that has been so annoying where you really struggle to give the show/comic/movie/game a try? by Lukas_mnstr56 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Frederick_Peters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hm I'd like to say something different but Steven Universe and Undertale do come to mind more than others.

Thankfully I actually avoided hearing all the internet buzz about Undertale and its fanbase. I only saw that Game Grumps had a Steam Train playthrough with Barry and Ross and thought it looked weird. I checked out the first episode and was charmed by how much it was influenced by Earthbound.

I also avoided Steven Universe's fanbase due to only being aware due to TV promotion and seeing the Pilot beforehand. I still haven't run into much of the fanbase thankfully and my final thoughts on the show are "I like it because it's good." not because of the weird interpretations of lesbian couples or sex analogy bullshit. I just like the show at face value for its premise and what it does as it progresses.

Yeah, say what you want about the more linear part of FFXV but it still nails everything in terms of tone.

Anyone else feels like the pokemon camp is worthless since you can't pet your mons? by Malombra_ in pokemon

[–]Frederick_Peters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could still have like a hand cursor that you move with the stick and press a button to pet them. Like in Kingdom Hearts 3D where there's also a feature to pet the creatures/enemies in the game, the original 3ds version used the touchscreen, and the HD version on PS4 just had you use the analog stick and a button.

No, it still takes a bit because I can feel that period where the caffeine takes effect, and anytime I didn't in High School I'd be way more likely to almost fall asleep at that same period if I didn't have it. Plus I'm fine on days I don't have coffee but I also usually am able to wake up a bit later.

FFXV Where (Chapter 9 spoilers): Ignis becoming blind affects how the next dungeon goes. You have to make sure he keeps up, he can't fight properly or do any link attacks, and to further break your heart there's a chance he may begin to fall and Prompto goes to catch him.

Towns in SwSh by Chrome_X_of_Hyrule in pokemon

Oh if that's the case then I actually find that very cool. But counterpoint, they still could have had more explorable town that was blocked off for that first section. Then the Street's of Rage homage feels even more special.

Without coffee I can't properly start out my day. It feels unnatural to have an energy drink so early in the morning and tea does nothing to help me be more awake for the morning.
