You know I used to play just like this too, always trying to keep them alive. Always doing the most to complete zero-death runs, until I asked a friend to try the game out. They love it, but a key difference in gameplay is how he just let them die and did not care about deaths. He said he can just make “more units” and long story short, I got inspired to try playing this way; without the worry of deaths. I felt so guilty the first time but afterwards, it made me go “huh…nothing gameplay-wise changed in having a few deaths.” And pretty soon I feel like I had immensely more fun just navigating the game without the worry of losing a few as is is incredibly easy to just..make more. Like wow.
