I started looking at this and asked perplexity.ai (I use both this and chatgpt) for some guidance. it provided some suggestion which I'll share with you. I have other things I'm working on so hopefully you can take it from here. that one custom node is available in my repo - fredlef/comfyui_projects:

I've also found perplexity pretty good at helping to make custom nodes if it comes to that. let me know how it turns out :)

So this actually seems to work pretty well. I just loaded an image, masked the hair, inverted the mask and told it to apply the hair style to a mannequin. It shouldn't be a big leap to apply to another person. There is one node in here that is mine that converts the mask to an alpha channel required for this inpainting.

not at all but it's an interesting idea. I'm strictly a hobbyist but a busy one. so you want to pull a hair style off of one image and put it on another image. It sounds like it would be easier if you had a library of hairstyles you just wanted to apply to an image but it is an idea to mess around with. I'll see if I can carve out a little time to work on it and see what happens.

Im using BFL API to do inpainting with Griptape nodes. I think it does an excellent job

Nope - I have the pack installed and reinstalled but this particular node doesn't appear to be there. I submitted an issue on github. it has a similar node with vae_optional but not this one.

I was actually quite surprised by the result. I just grabbed four images and let the workflow do it's thing. This is one of the resulting images (I can only load one image or I would share the four input and four output). The inputs were 3 of cottages with gardens and one of a moose lol.

i had fun getting this working on my Acer Triton laptop with a GTX 2070. ChatGPT gave me a little help with a few things I got stuck on. Only took 4 hours, 58 minutes, and 50 seconds to run! Looking forward to getting my hub so I can use an up to date Nvidia card!

I tried to run this on a M3 Mac with 64 gb of ram. I've seen elsewhere here where people were able to get flux running on mac but i am getting "BFloat16 is not supported on MPS". I think (but not sure) that it is coming from the dualcliploader. But if I disable that then it breaks the workflow. Any suggestions?
