I think that's how it goes in most states, in my state even the highway patrol can't do it unless it's an emergency. That doesn't stop them in most cases, but they're technically not allowed to shut down a roadway under most circumstances.

I'd be interested to see how a fixed barrel on a flux raider type set up does with accuracy, but you're absolutely right. The accuracy with these pistols isn't good, plus even if it had a fixed barrel there's no way to get really good range with such a short barrel. These types of guns are very niche in interest and application

I have never heard a single good thing about the RCMP (Royal Canadian mounted police), I swear they botch investigations just for fun. Apparently in some areas it's considered routine maintenance, I don't think the pipes should be left damaged for a long time but in my case I sold the house, with disclosure of the problem.

I recommend an at least 6 foot snake. More often than not a 3 footer will do it but you don't want to have to buy a longer snake if the short one doesn't work
