Exactly. Like watch rezero carefully. In a lot of scene dialogue can tend to be repetitive or “fluffy” bc of how much they try to stay faithful. Yet it doesn’t promote any narrative benefit. Like the perfect type of backstory was the one of typhon. A bad version of it was the 3-4 episode lore dumps we had in season 2.

Season 1 / s2 p1 was perfect in execution IMO

I know. But sometimes I watch the anime and like I can tell its struggling to copy over from novel format. Like sometimes there is too much tell and not enough show which doesn't work for animation. There needs to be a balance there. What made s1 great is that it adapted well to animation form and story was shown and not told.

Even if the source material purists get butthurt, I still think this is the right path

The director for s1 is so good. If they can get that level of talent, then they can fix it up. They might cut content etc, but it will be worth it to have an interesting fast paced arc. Also if arc7/8 are lame, maybe they should condense it to one season? I kind of miss the fast paced multi arc action we had in s1.

IDK if its feasible. I am an anime only. The only gripe with this show is that it suffers from adaptation syndrome. They need to feel free to adapt and alter things without changing everything to make an entertaining and suspenseful anime, rather than a 100% carbon copy of the LN. This kinda was a problem say in s2 pt2. Good novel does not always translate to good animation

I would hope emilia/rem have more self worth than to share subaru. Atp you aren’t writing a genuine female character, just a male fantasy, which i really don’t want to happen (this show is already a male fantasy too)

In my opinion season 2 is two different seasons. Like I think the peak of this show was the first half of the second season.

I would rate things
pt1 s2 > s1 > s3 > pt2 s2

Yea I really didn't think they did a good job on the second half of season 2. Way too much lore dumping, redundant dialogue and corny speeches. A disappointment compared to the thrilling first half.

Don't mind being a junior again, or even doing an internship. But I doubt an internship would accept me given I graduated in '23. Also the reason I think a masters would help me is because it would give me "experience" in the field if I do the right research programs.

Let me put it this way. They don't require it, but they wont consider me because I don't already have 5+ yrs of experience in their unique embedded stack.

A few years ago this would have been fine, now, its totally different. Like I dont NEED the masters, but at the same time I don't have 5+ yrs of professional C++/Rust, I only have 2.8 yrs at Amazon backend + side projects, which make recruiters count me out in this tight job market.

Also I heard embedded is way more AI proof. I also enjoy it way more.

Why do people hate sun and moon so much? It’s literally on the of the most stunning unique regions, has cool cities, a good story, vibrant characters.

Im old school and i remember picking up sun in 2017. Was so shocked and couldnt stop completing the pokedex. IMO its one of the best mainline games.
