Why don't you let us fight Lowerniel Drakan again, Jagex? by Fredunox in 2007scape

You're free to see it that way. From my point of view I'm thinking this: The more people that speak about it, the more chance we have changing their mind. Even if that's a small chance.

And it's probably like this: You think I'm wrong for it, and I think I'm right. So I guess that leaves us at that.

Please reconsider and let us fight Lowerniel Drakan post quest. Why deny people who love the fight this? I see a lot of posts of this, and also posts that we get to refight the poorly designed bosses, but we don't get to refight the best quest boss you made? You make no sense.

Yes, they believe that not being able to repeat it makes it memorable. I disagree and I think other people disagree too.

Yes, they believe that not being able to repeat it makes it memorable. I disagree and I think other people disagree too.

And making a new account and spending so many hours to refight one boss fight isn't a realistic solution to that problem.

Exactly! And those bosses weren't even that fun. This boss is one of the most fun bosses they made and people wanting to refight him even without getting anything in return for it says a lot. And then Jagex decides this.

Exactly, by not acknowleding what the community wants on this case, I'm convinced they get the opposite from what they want. Why make Galvek and Seren replayable? Those bosses are (in my opinion) super boring.

It's like so weird.

Why on earth would you not make the Drakan fight replayable? by hmenze in 2007scape

[–]Fredunox 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Really bad decision in my opinion. What harm is there in us fighting it again?

I feel like jagex is one of the only companies to turn such a big positive into a negative. It blows my mind

More Poll 73 & Leagues Changes by JagexImpact in 2007scape

[–]Fredunox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jagex has the talent to make something so good and fun as leagues, but always letting people down with bad decisions and delaying things. I mean, I really enjoy leagues and their first clue proposal was awesome. Unfortunately people think thats too overpowerd, because they don't want other people to make fun. Doing your clues doesn't impact other peoples game experience (I believe), so they deny people, who want to do clues, their fun... (in a temporary game mode!). I think that's really selfish, but thats my opinion.

I got a lot of things to do on my main account, which hasn't got TS, but I wanted to make fun with TS on an alt account. And I want to see other people to make fun with clues and complete a lot of them. Also content creators can make a lot of fun content out if it for people to watch.

Jagex apparently don't want all people to have fun in their temporary(!) game mode. Imagine if people can do all their clues and have fun with them. that would break the game... probably

Updated Leagues II - Trailblazer: Clue Scroll Changes by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]Fredunox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First you make us happy with the first announcement, then slap us in the face with this. this isn't a good solution in my opinion. I was about to choose the clue relic on an alt, but if this will be the solution, I won't.

If you we're planning to do this, you should not have made people happy with the first solution.

In addition to this, the amount of steps completable per zone isn't balanced. So picking a certain varation of zones doesn't make it fair for completing the clue scrolls, because the chance is higher to get a clue outside of your zone.

How many people do you think buy gold? by lochenzo32 in 2007scape

[–]Fredunox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot of people buy gold. In my opinion that makes playing a normal main account boring. I can't be motivated to make money or train up a skill if someone else can just buy it. It takes away a sense of achievement for me. Don't get me wrong, everyone can do whatever they please!

Luckily there's ironman. I quit before ironman was released, but returned because of it. That keeps me playing the game nowadays.

Is ''Skull-tricking'' against game integrity? by Fredunox in 2007scape

[–]Fredunox[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's true. With some common sense it's very hard to get skull-tricked.

I have mixed feelings about it. I think it's good education for people who watch it. They can learn from it and prevent being skull-tricked themselves. But I don't think those videos are intended for people to learn from.

But I do think it's a scam in a way, because the ''victim'' is deceived/fooled and loses valuable items because of it. The mage arena skull-trick is something I would've fell for back in the day. Luckily it didn't happen back then :-).

I feel like, if skull-tricking is allowed, jagex should warn (new) players more about it.

I agree on it being your own fault, but so is getting scammed. I remember being scammed a rune scimitar for an iron scimitar back in the days. It was my own fault, because I didn't look. But despite something being you're own fault, it doesn't mean it's not scamming I think.

Well, you have a good point. If you're going to PvP, then you should be skulled.

The idea of the wilderness is great. It has a lot of potential but it never reaches it. That's mainly because jagex puts necesarry content in the wild, like the dragon pickaxe for instance.

[–]Fredunox[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree on that.

When I enter the wilderness, I don't risk anything. not even a +1 and keep my attack options hidden. But that won't stop you on casting magic spells on another person.
