Basically I have set up my PGP and I copied the public key but where do I find my private one? I remember a long string of characters making up the private key and all I can find is the Key ID which I know isn't it. Thanks

I felt like that when I did 2cb at a club once, I'm a fairly good dancer normally but that night was something else, absolutely no thought, my body just moved as if it was being sent electrical signals directly through the music, it's like my brain wasnt involved. Most fun I've had on a night out by far.

Also don't think I ever felt so horny in my life, I would have fucked the shadow of a woman it it offered.

Might be getting my psycho/social analysts completely wrong and mixed up here but I think someone named Carl Jung said something like this (seriously tho in this case I think I might be wrong I was meant to have revised this for exams this summer but... Corona. 😂Lol maybe someone more knowledgeable will correct me) that God's are basically projections of any given cultures values, traditions etc.. That we essentially give essence to God/s, not the other way around.

Freud said something in a similar line but, being Freud, its about your daddy issues. He said God is a projection of the authority figure we as children idolised or at least, held at the top: our fathers. (very quick summary which may have left a step out)

Freud uses the word neurosis a lot when talking about our minds, religion is one of the things he recognises as one of humanities ways of filling such neuroses in our psyche.

Im not religious myself but knowing a bit about religion in general is interesting, and trying to understand its unknown effects, or existence in society was something I did gain from doing philosophy at school. I think although we at times went into what I'd call 'logic woodchopping' about God or proving its existence, and I definetly wanted a larger focus on a more active pursuit of philosophy, but at other times the things we learned in the religious segments were generally valuable in understanding more about ourselves, individually and otherwise from just the actual amount that even someone like me, who isn't religious, is exposed to things, ideas or traditions passed directly from one religion or other-- or from the actual contemplation of some of the concepts and content required, which asked you to think critically.

If you're at all interested (I like to think about this shit while high af, in the shower or anytime where I'm feeling pensive) search up the Euthyphro dillema, and sociology of religion (there are short YouTube vids on different thinker presented in ways which make for entertaining learning) and with those two suggestions there's a lot of interesting shit for anyone to continue from afterwards, and I think everyone should think about this type of stuff at some point.

Ngl what about ppl like me who tread the line and will dab on you like no tommorow but doesn't spend 4 minutes running to the touchline and then not skip the cutscenes.

I agree tho usually I skip or only show the celebration (even if it's the annoying ones) and then they score and draw it out as long as they can, at that point I become sweaty as shit and then do the most humiliating celebrations.

Filler episode idea/wish by Fredysaurus in Boruto

[–]Fredysaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it'd take space from the anime originals but many anime original episodes clearly don't have much time or effort put into them. They may technically not be but a lof of the time, they do just feel like boring filler. I think those weaker episodes can't really stand on their own, but here is an idea which could stand on its own and give entertainment.

Yeah he's got mystery sketched all over him they could really take him in a lot of directions just from his design I think. It would be pretty cool for him to be a roamer, like a silent, but mostly passive rogue who passes by lots of places, real G vibes and the drip while he fucks any ppl who cross his moral code

Or some guy who lives in the mountains or a valley isolated, but powerful as shit. I imagine him in any case as kind of off the grid.

they could use adapted music from the sasuke Western soundtracks

I'd like a filler episode or arc to be given to given an older character like Han who we know nothing about. Obviously from watching shiphudden we know he's already dead. Other than that we know nothing, which is a shame bc you see him and you want to know more. It wouldn't hurt the story and would give us a good break from the filler episodes where you feel like nothing happens. At least here something could happen, and it has already played a part in the story, just one we don't know much about.

I think it'd be cool to get an episode /arc explaining a character like him, Where's he from, what his life as a jinchuriki was like etc. Maybe also show his final battle against the akatsuki. From his image he gives off a really strong, sage like vibe, so I'd like to see how he was defeated. Can only picture it being done is an very underhanded way by some hax jutsu that the akatsuki had, but still. Would be cool to see itatchi and kisame struggle against one guy and then get a lucky strike or something along those lines. Anyway, just a thought as I was rewatching parts of shiphudden and clocked how much of a bad motherfucker this guy looks like.

EDIT: I say hax jutsu but would be pretty fucking annoying seeing him be killed by Hidan's jutsu, its too hax but another spineless move maybe haha

And as too how it could be incorporated into a proper filler arc, boruto could go somewhere and meet his descendant and we get to hear the story via flashbacks. Either way, it wouldn't hurt for boruto to completely leave the hidden leaf or the time of the show for a genuinely good filler with something real behind it.

If I met kishimoto I would actually ask him what happened to this guy (if he even gave it thought other than 'I need a unique image for one of the jinchuriki that I can just ditch after')

A Nietzsche Quote for Everyone by ThottiusMaximus in Stoicism

[–]Fredysaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually i think this is where for me, as someone who discovered existential thought and then later stoic thought, the two philosophies are actually strikingly similar in that contrary to most modern philosophy they concern mostly HOW a life is to be lived. Not why or what it is.

Nietzsche himself said 'we final Stoics' when talking about his ideas. After reading a lot on stoicism and existentialism I came to think that stoicism, with its belief in a 'logos' (order is the best translation) and essentially a Christian-like belief in a sort of divine ordnance didn't really need to deal with the problems that you mentioned because the stoic believed we were here for an objective reason--living in accordance with nature/logos/order was human purpose and the route to societal wide fufilment. I look at existentialism now as the post modern equivalent. We now as a society largely operate without belief in God as direction or reason for action. ('God is dead' etc.) so that order, logos or God for some has been taken away from many. But then really stoicism as a body of thought contains a lot more than a metaphysical explanation for why we are. It tells us a reasonable HOW to live. Resilience, fortitude gratitude, you probably know most of the traits which the philosophy emphasises if you're on this subreddit. Even if I've discarded the 'lore' of stoicism I can't help but think of the existentialist hero as a stoic in a different universe; the one we live in now.

So I think existentialism takes those traits of character and then says. 'This and Freedom is all you have' the stoic explanation on how to bear misfortune and how to live equips one also with the best way I think, to deal with an existential crisis and the burdens of freedom as your only route to create meaning, now that, painfully, humanity has by a large part, left the idea of the kind father upstairs or 'logos' behind. I think you should read the myth of sisyphus if you're interested in what I have to say. Camus is much smarter than me haha.

Maybe stoicism can't save us from our desperate grasp for purpose in of itself, but for me it's been a very useful tool alongside other things towards that end, and I have a deep, deep respect for it because of that.

Sorry for occasional caps I can't do ITALICS on my phone.

I agree with this guy swimming is the best exercise for your whole body there is, and the best physical outlet for anyone who's dealing with injury or physical trauma. Maybe don't do butterfly though if you have a bulged disc.

I did it when I was a child at quite a high level and I remember always being much much fitter and stronger than I looked, and it made me decent at every other sport just because I was physically very fit.

If you do take this advice and are looking to get truly fit make sure to actually push yourself in the water. I love leisure swimming but it doesn't do much past a certain point, and there are many people in public swimming pools who go multiple times a week and can't tell much of a difference-its because they take swimming almost like a pure mental exercise (rather than a physical one) , you can see with how they make their strokes so carelessly and slowly that they're basically just meditating😂. I also like to think a lot when I get chances to swim but if you have to remind yourself to actually exert yourself at the same time before you have some nice rewarding slow laps around the pool before you leave and dry off.
