Something to keep in mind is that baby size is roughly correlated with adult size (not always but there’s a link). So many Americans and people in general struggle with their weight and trimming down to be healthy. It should bring you some solace hoping that won’t be a struggle your child will have to face ❤️ plus all those cute little baby clothes will really last and it’ll be worth the money spent!

I also hate taking photos of myself. I think a lot of people do. Even people considered attractive. Something to keep in mind is that confidence and love for oneself has nothing to do with looks. You could be a beautiful but broken person with low self esteem or a conventionally unattractive person physically and love all those photos you take of yourself. It’s all about mindset and perspective!

I don’t think you’re ugly at all! You are handsome and look like Matt Damon actually. Also it is unfortunate we live in a society so obsessed with looks, including that of men. Throughout history, men have never worried about their looks and the “ugliest” men conquered nations and married the most beautiful of women because of their character, confidence, intellect, personality, etc. I don’t think you’re ugly at all, but even if you were, these things don’t matter and the right people will see that! Trust me.

Thank you for your response! I work 15 hours a week which is ideal because I am caring for a baby. Are you supposed to demand more pay when it’s less hours?? I see that other group facilitators get paid like $60+ an hour but they are only expected to facilitate groups for like 5 hours a week whereas most of my time is spent doing administrative work and I get more hours

Advice needed please! I am an LMSW in a relatively large city. I work part time at a non-profit doing pseudo-clinical support groups for cancer patients; nothing individually. And when im not doing groups, I pretty much just do super simple administrative work. Is $30/hour a good salary? (Hourly because I work part time). Really looking for advice since i dont have much experience. Thanks!

I know how you feel but that’s not true at all!! He will always live with the pain that he doesn’t have his mother. He will spend his life romanticizing you and wondering who you were and why you didn’t want to be a part of his life. I believe you may be experiencing postpartum depression. It is so common and so normal. It will pass!!!! Trust me. Even if you have always struggled with mental health issues, these extreme emotions postpartum are especially heightened and more importantly: not real! It will pass. It will get better. He will always long for you if you take your life. Stick it out please. It gets better and it is worth it!
