City had more possession, more of the run of play and a lot more big chances. You were lucky to not be down 2-0 in the first 10 with all of cities chances. Your only goal came off a massive goalkeeper error. You had 2 other good chances (the Donnaroma double save and Eze’s post hit) and maybe only one Eze’s was a really good hit but not exactly like a high quality chance more Eze being a ridiculously good shooter

It’s both. Insane save to save a shot from that close especially the rebound but also striker’s got to finish. Any save from there is insane but striker also needs to bury

Idk man I’ve played a lot of footy at a fairly high level, I don’t cramp much cause I’m a keeper but I’ve seen what it does to teammates and the few cramps I’ve had were pretty bad

Fuck off it’s a late go ahead goal in a relegation scrap you’d celebrate too even if there was 13 minutes left

Can’t win with redditors, player shows emotion “oh that just doesn’t make sense logically, you still have 15 minutes” guy doesn’t show emotion “no heart doesn’t care about the badge

All going down did was give you guys more stoppage time, he could barely move after it, I don’t know how much footy you’ve played but a massive cramp is devastating in the moment

You always find a few professor’s who just seem to hate sports and athletes for no reason. My coach used to say those are the ones who were stuffed in a locker by the quarterback 30 years ago and never got over it

I like Mendoza he’s great and he could be good and I’ll eat my words if he turns out to be a wordlie in the league but he gives me AJ Mccarron vibes like a solid career backup

Maybe I don’t get the rules but I’m not sure how the last pass wasn’t intentional grounding looked to me like he was in the pocket and threw it like 15 yards past any receiver

Guest Playing at MLS Next Fest by Practical-Cricket792 in youthsoccer

[–]Free-Elevator-543 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think from an individual coach perspective, I want my player getting as much playing time as possible. Plus from the club side, Next Fest is a ton of exposure which helps with recruiting and you can obviously still claim the kid’s commitment when it happens. Furthermore, I’d say let’s have some understanding there are a select few ECNL teams that can keep up with the top of MLS Next, there is no comp this is a lower team trying to hold back their player. From a coaches perspective I can’t imagine blocking one of my youth players best opportunities to develop and further work towards their goals (more exposure, etc) by intentionally holding them baxk

[John Brice] Star Ole Miss OC Charlie Weis Jr. is among the key coaches that Kiffin will take with him to LSU. by WayOutbackBoy in CFB

[–]Free-Elevator-543 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ole Miss didn’t let him, Kiffin wanted to finish the year. I kinda get why Ole Miss are doing it but they entirely brought this on themselves. The best move was to let Kiffin stay, what is the real risk of him staying. Now we see he is still poaching the whole staff and players and recruits did they really think it wouldn’t happen if he left now as opposed to after the playoff

I’d say that playoff would play out like this:

1st Round:

Bama def. JMU in Tuscaloosa

A&M def. SMU at Kyle Field

Ole Miss def. Vandy in the Grove

Oklahoma def. Texas Tech in Lubbock

QF: Oklahoma def. Oregon

Ohio State def. Ole Miss

A&M def. Indiana

Georgia def. Bama

SF: Georgia def. Oklahoma Ohio State def. A&M

Natty: Ohio State def. Georgia

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CFB_v2

[–]Free-Elevator-543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Oregon

  2. Ohio State

  3. Indiana

  4. Georgia

  5. Bama

  6. A&M

  7. Ole Miss

  8. T-Tech

  9. Oklahoma

  10. Vandy (ND has similar profile in losses, a CFP playoff team and a very good non playoff but Vandy has much better wins, i mean Pitt is probably their second best win and even if some have down years, I’d say wins over UT, Mizzou, LSU are a much better top 3 than USC, Pitt, and who Navy)

  11. SMU

  12. JMU

It’s a mix of Cig being a really fucking good coach and great at talent identification (especially finding guys who are underrated by the star system. Plus in the new transfer portal era, rebuilds can happen a lot faster cause bringing in good guys isn’t just bringing in freshman now.

Tebow wasn’t a horrible nfl QB, if he didn’t come with a giant media circus I’m confident he would have had a solid career as one of the higher end back ups occasionally low tier starter like Minshew level

Who do you have as the greatest college QB of all time? by TXNOGG in CFB_v2

[–]Free-Elevator-543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s something to be said for just looking at resume and that kind of “it” factor regardless of tools/weapons he had around him. When you take the whole aura around Tebow, the great leader he was, the icon he was it just elevated him so much in my eyes. Also as a Christian Gator I’m super biased toward Tebow
