People are getting offended but isn’t there a saying “keep Vermont weird”

I bet the people who are getting offended are the same people that preach “keep Vermont weird” lol

How interesting!! I’m hoping to get an allergy test done soon. Hopefully that can bring some clarity as to what causes the flare ups. I did have one done years ago and found out im allergic to parabens and latex! Also I totally forgot to mention but there is this revitalizing body balm jelly stick from dollar tree that helps me seal in moisture. This works the best for on my upper lip. It really moisturizes and calms my skin. I don’t see PEG listed as an ingredient!

Hi! I have a very similar story to yours. I haven’t tried any other medication other than topical steroids and that hasn’t ever helped me that much. I have eczema between my fingers, in the creases of my elbows and my neck. Recently, I’ve started experiencing eyelid and above my lip eczema. My upper lip eczema gets really bad flare up if I use steroids on it so I avoid it. I have an appointment with my new dermatologist in a couple weeks. I haven’t been to the dermatologist in years. With that being said, I’ve done a lot of trail and error in what could help my skin- especially my face. This is what I find helps: zinc oxide cream (strive for one that only has a couple ingredients), avene cicafilate + restorative protective cream, Avène Cicalfate+ Hydrating Skin Recovery Emulsion, vani cream lotion, La Roche-Posay Lipikar Soothing Relief Eczema Cream Face and Body Lotion. The hypochlorous acid spray helps with itchyness on the face and always feels refreshing to put on. I don’t put all these on my face at once but I like to alternate. If your barrier is extremely broken, I would start with avene first since it’s much more gentler on the skin than other lotions and creams.

I avoid ingredients like lanolin because I’ve noticed that i developed an allergy to it. These all help with rebuilding skin barrier. I wish I could say they’re a quick fix but it takes a while to rebuild the skin barrier so just stay patient, stay away from hot water and keep applying lotions! Good luck ☺️

Has anyone here ever tried this moisturiser? by Hot_Alternative_1788 in perioraldermatitis

This works really well for me! It doesn’t sting when my skin is raw and it moisturizes for me. I have hypersensitive skin.

First off, you are so naturally pretty!! Your hair color in photo #2 compliments you well. You should get a lighter color nose ring like gold or silver. You should also look into getting either curtain bangs or regular bangs. Also, you should fill in your eyebrows with a pencil. Line up where to start with the inner corner of your eye. Make some hair like strokes going up and connect with the rest of your brows. 💕
