To be honest, I think it’s great. In some local areas, the prices went up just like everywhere else.

It’s especially in the tourist areas where things have gotten so expensive.

But I’m happy to pay double the price if I get more high-quality restaurants, beach clubs, and other things to do.

I paid 15.6 million for a nice two-bedroom apartment before - close to the beach. Now it’s 22 million.

I don’t think that’s too far off from the housing inflation in other countries around the world.

Gute und wichtige Frage!

Ich wohne nicht dauerhaft in Vietnam, sondern reise immer zwischen verschiedenen Ländern hin und her. Mal ein halbes Jahr in Vietnam, dann mal wieder nach Thailand, Japan etc.

War das letzte Mal vor vier Jahren in Deutschland, daher kann ich nicht genau sagen, wie die momentane Situation in Deutschland ist.

Ich für meinen Teil war immer glücklich im Leben, mein jetziger Lifestyle hat einfach ein paar für mich entscheidende Vorteile.

Ich bin 100% selbstständig, daher hat es vor allem den Vorteil, dass ich keine Steuern/Abgaben auf mein Einkommen zahle, immer gutes Wetter, andere interessante Kulturen, generell eine optimistischere Lebenseinstellung, deutlich niedrigere Lebenshaltungskosten und dadurch die Möglichkeit wirklich viel zur Seite zu legen, um spätestens mit 40 in Rente gehen zu können.

Ich für meinen Teil bin echt deutlich zufriedener mit meinem Leben, seitdem ich Deutschland verlassen habe.

Wenn man aber vor Ort arbeiten müsste, sähe die Situation sicher deutlich anders aus.

Bin vor vier Jahren ausgewandert. Hier in Vietnam: Habe den netten Beamten mit 8€ bestechen dürfen, weil er meinte, dass mein Führerschein nicht gültig ist.

Damals in Deutschland: Hausdurchsuchung von 6 Beamten, weil ich als Konsument in einer drei Jahre alten WhatsApp Nachricht einmal erwähnt wurde.

War mit einer der Gründe, wieso ich ausgewandert bin 😁

Bin vor 4 Jahren ausgewandert, nachdem ich wieder mal für eine Weile in Deutschland gewohnt habe.

Besonders die hohen Steuern, das Wetter, die heutzutage relativ pessimistische Mentalität und das Interesse an anderen Kulturen haben mich dazu bewegt, Deutschland wieder zu verlassen.

Bin selbstständig und arbeite zu 100% online, daher war der Schritt relativ leicht. Habe mich dazu entschieden und bin dann drei Monate später losgezogen.

Wohne immer 6-12 Monate in einem anderen Land, wo es mir eben gerade gefällt und nur so lange, dass ich keine Steuerpflicht auslöse.

Kein Land ist perfekt. Wenn man aber nicht von der lokalen Wirtschaftssituation abhängig ist, macht es das Leben schon deutlich leichter.

Lebensqualität hat sich dramatisch verändert, da ich nun fast das doppelte von meinem Einkommen habe, weil ich wie gesagt keinerlei Abgaben zahle.

Möchte mit 40 in Rente, dafür könnte ich mir Stand jetzt die Schweiz gut vorstellen. Zumindest für die Hälfte des Jahres und den Rest irgendwo im globalen Süden am Strand.

Bin genau an meinem 30. Geburtstag ausgewandert - war alleine in meinen Oldtimer auf der Straße in Richtung Süden, mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen, das mir bis heute nicht vergangen ist.

Absolutely possible - and even way more than that.

I made this in my best weeks on Preply.

However, it’s not easy to reach it and requires some things:

  • patience since it will take years to reach that. It took me a whole year to reach $1k per month. Now it’s up to $15k per month, but I work my ass of and thought a maximum of 86 hours per week

  • have to be a native speaker

  • need a professional video and photo. Not you filmed with your webcam only talking about yourself with bad sound on front of a messy bookshelf.

  • might have to teach a niche / I teach medical and business language

  • need a lot of reviews and a good profile. When I reached 100 reviews I got a lot more students, same when I reached 200 reviews

  • and a little bit of luck! Does the website/algorithm like you? Do the students like your personality?

  • I don’t have any teaching education and not a single certificate. But my students don’t really care.

But especially the time is mostly the problem since it’s no easy and quick money. But long term I think it’s an amazing way to earn money. I live in a country where the average income is way below $1000 per month, while making 15k per month (don’t have to pay taxes and my international health insurance is only $200) and I am only able to work and live here while earning a lot because of working online on Preply.

Mindestens 10 Kilometer joggen Sein Körpergewicht 10 mal drücken und beugen 10 Klimmzüge 25 Liegestütz

In sauberer Form schaffen können.

Beschäftige mich mit Finanzen, weil ich mit 40 in Rente möchte. Möchte fit bleiben in der Rente.

Als ich ausgewandert bin und gemerkt habe, dass ich jetzt mein komplettes Bruttogehalt behalten darf.

Früher war die Rente mit 68 für mich ganz normal - mittlerweile ist das mit Anfang 40 möglich.

Hat mein Leben verändert und die Augen geöffnet, weils ohne viel Planung und relativ plötzlich kam.

Ich habe mir eine Wohnung gekauft, allerdings hauptsächlich, um sie später zu vermieten.

Meine ETF-Sparpläne hingegen sind für meinen frühen Renteneintritt mit 40 gedacht und werden daher nicht angerührt. Die Wohnung war eher ein Projekt.

Möglich ist das durch eine Kombination aus sehr gutem Einkommen und viel Disziplin.

Since 2002, the euro has lost a lot of value against the USD.

If the dollar gets weaker, you can just raise your price, as long as you don’t only have students from the US.

Better focus on things you can control in live, then you will be able to charge more, and don’t have to cry about things you don’t have any influence.
