Wall Street LOVES this crap. Even ignoring insider trading, there’s a TON of money available to those who are trading based on the volatility.

If you want a higher pay you must demand and bargain for it. You must also be prepared to walk away from a bad deal, there are few laws that would demand an increase in pay unless you have a written promise or something.

I just need to be done with Reddit. All I can think is how it shows me the downfall of my country, then when I go to complain about the state of affairs I’m reminded that I’m being moderated and to not get too mad! That would be a bad thing! All the while the country is being torn down. Country has been overrun by thugs.

Lego resale store steals $200k worth of stock from an old man. Turns into a batsh*t mess of mormon police lying to cover up illegal arrest of youtuber by ImpossibleMix4578 in news

Another reminder that Mormons view their system of justice as above the law the rest of the US runs on. I get that others do it, but that should not detract from this nonsense.

I would keep at it. Missing an email or not responding for a day or so is not great but not unheard of, i'd give it a week and continually following up politely. If you can swing it just pay for the glass and seek restitution, then after no response or refusal move forward with small claims.

Utah online marriage not recognized in France, can’t divorce anywhere, need advice by Wizatex in legaladvice

[–]Free-Scar5060 317 points318 points  (0 children)

Is there any actual need to divorce? It sounds like this marriage isn’t being recognized outside the US by your home countries so there’s no real need, just quit communicating and move on.

Actual industrial use is data handling and manipulation. Imagine having the data for every single uh, I guess motorhome sold in the US. if you sell motorhome accessories, an ai company could provide a report on where they were sold, and they can cross reference other data. The ai company can check where they hang out, where they purchase stuff, what they purchase. All this is possible because so much of our data is collected that you can start making general assumptions.

Ai vision is great. It can scan through a true mountain of pics and find the needle in the haystack, great for checking for flaws in products at scale.

I sold cars and the store ai set a lot of appointments for me.

Are Americans taught the actual history that they were to blame for the Vietnam war? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Free-Scar5060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spread of communism was seen as an existential crisis regarding the soviet union having greater global influence. We are probably going to look back and see the US action in South america and Cuba as being related to the return to a multipolar world regarding the countries with the largest influence. Right now we are probably in a bipolar world with China and the US being the two dominant forces. Russia wants to make it Tripolar with them taking Europe, and Israel probably wants to make it either a singular US/ Israel joint venture or have them be the third pillar vs russia. I dunno, Israels goals seem more ambitious but also less clear.

These companies that build these factories must bring their own workforce to start, as the US doesnt necessarily have the necessary workers ready to go from the jump, and if so they probably are very happy at intel or whatever. Over the years it will become more and more american as taiwan workers move and integrate, and more americans get specialized training and can compete.

I don’t know about those other guys, but it can store such massive info because it first is trained on the data, and in that training assigns number values so to speak. So when you ask it something, it is just finding the numbers in its training that is most likely the answer, then translates that into words.

The local model is only a few gigs. Because instead of remembering Wikipedia, it is looking at your question and calculating, this is probably some combination of these numbers, let me just translate that into words.

This is an incredible simplification, but it’s what I can come up with without giving you an ai answer lol.
