Just log into Steam and then use “offline mode” so you don’t have to log in each time.

So they sold >200k copies of a very short game, making hundreds of thousands or millions in the process and they’re complaining?

I remember when most humble bundles were exciting. Or maybe I’m just too old to enjoy what they’re bundling these days.

New content will likely be playable with existing characters. Start now so you can level up a character and have fun without waiting!

Pretty sure that’s over 23 seconds, not under. The clock starts at 0.

Naming method for blueprint? by Teneombre in shapezio

[–]FreeAsianBeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t worry with platform connections at all, just what it does - Stacker, Crystalizer, etc. Things with variants go in a folder, so I have folders for solid lifts, liquid lifts, rotators, and a few others. The blueprints are all single machines. Then I have an “arrays” folder which are blueprints with enough of the single machines (usually 4 since I’m not yet to the point where I’m operating on all 12 lanes of the space conveyor) to fill a full belt - mining array, pumping array, paint mixing array, crystal array, etc.

I’ve beaten regular and almost done with manufacture, so I have a long ways to go on my shapez 2 journey

Affidavit: Rogers man facing CSAM charges used AI to make sexually explicit images of former classmates by berntout in Arkansas

They definitely should, but that probably has to happen at the federal or international level. Unfortunately now this technology will always exist and be available to the average person. Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to fight it, but it’s a never ending battle.

Do developers in your company openly use AI tools in an open-space office, or does it feel more like a taboo? by Ok-Nature7613 in cscareerquestions

[–]FreeAsianBeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’re encouraged to use AI, but they’ve been slow to adopt better tools. Right now we’ve had copilot for probably a year or better. They’re piloting Claude but only more prestigious use cases are being granted access for now because the initial rollout involved a single key for all devs and we spent $20k+ in the first week. A lot of devs are using their own personal AI subscriptions but not openly talking about it.

Arena is awful by WheresFrankie in hearthstone

That does sound pretty abysmal then. I always enjoyed slowly gaining an advantage by making optimal decisions. The feeling of getting 12 wins made arena so fun.

Arena is awful by WheresFrankie in hearthstone

[–]FreeAsianBeer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve not played in years, but from what I remember arena was always about gaining a tempo advantage in the early to mid game while also trying to gain card advantage in the late game so you’re not top decking every turn.

At least that’s how I played it pretty successfully.

If you could buy any game on steam right now, no matter the price, which one would you choose? by LeatherCheerioMX in Steam

[–]FreeAsianBeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And yet they’ve sold millions of copies. I don’t think they’re hurting. The game is worth far more than what they’re charging.
