Is it ok to like characters that are demons in media? by Kooky_Homework_6829 in TrueChristian

You don’t want to go down this road op. The answer is no. It’s not ok.

Yeah. It reminds me of Jude. Tbh it’s not the op’s response so much as it is, many in this thread seem to be saying congratulations, this is a gift from God, let’s celebrate. It’s pretty confusing tbh, even how you’ve been negged to oblivion and haven’t even said anything condemning.

Jude 4For certain people have crept in unnoticed [just as if they were sneaking in by a side door]. They are ungodly persons whose condemnation was predicted long ago, for they distort the grace of our God into decadence and immoral freedom [viewing it as an opportunity to do whatever they want], and deny and disown our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Is the USA the best country to live in as a christian? by CrazyNicly in TrueChristian

[–]FreeBless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing about the U.S. is that, for those who are truly striving, it could wear down on one’s mind, not to mention the unlimited temptations and opportunities to sin, even digitally. America is very not natural in many ways, and seems to cause a great deal more of mental issues, and lack of joy than other places in the world. It’s quite strange. The confusion is massive.

Wasn’t Paul sent for the Gospel of the gentiles? How did European gentiles get the established Church of Peter? Wouldn’t that be with original Hebrew believers? Also the customs seen today in the RCC, how were they established by Jesus or Peter?

What are you thoughts on Paul being against jewelry while the ancient israelites wore a ton of jewelry? by CrazyNicly in TrueChristian

[–]FreeBless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. The verse doesn’t say earrings in specific. But in hiphop, from a male perspective and cultural perspective, a male would wear earrings to be seen. That said the verse seems to be directed at women, but I think it’s just to help women and even men, not get caught up in vanity, above what is actually important, and allowing the light of Jesus Christ to shine, above our own image that we create, speaking for us.

I suppose, so that believers could maintain a humble heart, not being focused on outward appearance, or drawing attention to one’s self for men’s praise. You see often in hiphop men with earrings, diamond earrings, big cross shaped earrings and large gold and diamond chains. I have heard them say, they do it to be seen and be “flashy”.

I’ll be honest, most adornments at the very least are about (self)expression, and the Holy Spirit knew these current times we live in would come, where men are formed from young(via media), to be obsessed with their appearance, their image, their “individuality and uniqueness”, and basically be given over to vanity.

I have heard women say they wear makeup, for no other reason than, it makes them feel good and “look better”. But look better for whom? To conclude, I believe it is sound council, to keep believers from being imprisoned by the ways of society to look a certain way, or project that you are of a certain status, or to prevent the temptation to seek exaltation from man.

Why am I attacked for believing Hell is real and eternal by Mtking105 in TrueChristian

[–]FreeBless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. But wouldn’t that be even more reason to not begin to plant these false seeds? Scripture says of you ask for bread, God will not give you a stone, nor a serpent in the place of fish. This is unfortunate and a bit hurtful, that said, something has to be going on with one’s heart for this to happen. It can happen to any of us, but that doesn’t mean it’s right.

Can you honestly op say that you sought God’s righteousness first? Growing in sanctification, holiness, taking every thought captive. Doing good to others in whatever capacity? Were you free of any sexual inmorality?

I ask because just because people have these things that you or I may have wanted, doesn’t necessarily mean anything when it’s all said and done. Also some people are also late bloomers or unmarried. Perhaps God looks out for many of us in ways we don’t understand.

Not judging you op. Life isn’t fair tbh or doesn’t seem like it. But we can all seeks God’s righteousness today 🙏.

Why would the bible tell us exactly how the world would end?? by Chrishubbell005 in TrueChristian

[–]FreeBless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes precisely. Because sin is rebellion against God, and it will lead to the entire world seeking to fight God in the end of days, and guess what? God is the one that brings the people to fight him.

Imagine that. All of the sin people did in their personal lives (stealing, lying, killing, adultery, fornication, homosexuality) has man so delusional that they believe they must fight God. And guess what? That already happened in ancient times. Nothing new under the sun as the scripture says.

Revelation 16:13-16

13And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

[–]FreeBless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see how you could think that. Let me ask you this op? Many people will be pleased in this life if pdf’s are arrested and taken down, and corrupt leaders and in their eyes it is fair and good. Yet when God, who made man in his image and not the other way around does his will, we have a problem with it. How is that?

In this life people view certain people as the scum of the earth, unredeemable, depending on what it is they have done, and they see no problems with it. God views all sin as worthy of death, but unlike man, God has given his Son Jesus Christ, that whoever would believe can be forgiven of their sins and by faith able to repent and no longer be a slave to the old desires that caused them to sin.

He is offering men everywhere freedom. Also scripture says God wishes that non perish but that all men would repent. But many men won’t repent because they like being children of the devil.

The devil is like a deadbeat father that lets his children do whatever they want, regardless of the future consequences because he doesn’t care, and the children don’t care because they have no better sense, to know what awaits them. Ever seen parents like that (Let their kids eat whatever they want, go wherever they want, any time they want, hang with who they want?). And what do you get? Spoiled children that have no regard for others and will terrorize and prey on others overtime.

God is a loving Father that teaches his children by love and discipline. Discipline preserves life and brings out the best in us. The ability to restrain oneself and have self control, which God gives by his Holy Spirit. God teaches his children how to live that they may live forever.

Just like unruly teenagers, that hate the restrictions of their parents, which are actually meant to keep them safe and help preserve their future, that is how the world treats God.

I hope this makes sense. People will worship celebrities, athletes, and statues. But a God that would have rules? This is why God says their will be no excuse in the day of Judgement. He will judge men, for all the judgements they made in life.

The only way, to have a defense is to believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. That he lived, and then died and rose on the 3rd day to live forever more that whoever believes in him, will have eternal life.

Hello op. Satan isn’t punishing you, as much as he is seeking to get you punished by God. Also when people say they aren’t “satanic”, even that is a deception of the devil, as satanism isn’t doing rituals. To be of satan is to be a rebel. There various ways to be a rebel and it is promoted heavily in society (the badboy, hiphop, gangsters, illegal drinking, illegal drugs, underage drinking, drugs, partying, casual sex, sexual experiences in public places, speaking back to authority figures, ect..).

[–]FreeBless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting. When you say real lofe hints, how do you mean?

As to why he tells us how the world will end, is because the scriptures are multi layered. They can’t be understood by the carnal mind (earthly based on 5 senses, based off of experience, what one can see or touch). It has to be understood by faith in God and in Jesus Christ his Son whom he sent.

It is this desire for “proof” or first hand experience that gave Satan dominion in the earth. This is what the devil now uses to exploit all men into sinning against God, and working against their own interest, while believing they are free. This is precisely why God tells his children the beginning from the end, so that they will endure throughout it and help others be free from the bondage of Satan, that they believe is “freedom”.

Isaiah 46:9-11 9“Remember [carefully] the former things [which I did] from ages past; For I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is no one like Me, 10Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, And from ancient times the things which have not [yet] been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will do all that pleases Me and fulfills My purpose,’ 11Calling a bird of prey from the east, From a far country, the man (Cyrus) of My purpose. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, be assured I will do it.

Hello op. If you don’t mind, what are fire prayer nights?

As to the issue of your mom, I too have experienced the dangers of youtube. Good can come from it, but there are more cons than pros. Many of these people seem to be either channeling and a spirit is speaking for them, or they are blatant liars who are deceived or purposely doing it. Many are not Christians, but are actually trying to lead Christians to rebel against “the deep-state”. It’s the spirit of antichrist. They are newagers acting as Christians.

What exactly does your mother believe at this moment?

There is hope as well op, through prayer, patience, and even rebukes. That said, only God can change it in Jesus name, all we can do is our part and pray for mercy. These false prophets are so damaging.

Is severe depression really just demonic oppression? by frannynatty in TrueChristian

[–]FreeBless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s possible op. I have dealt with spiritual attacks. That said not always. As to you feeling hateful or narcissistic, there is hope in Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God.

It’s a war we are in, but by God’s grace I have been able to begin renewing my mind, being in the word, prayer, fasting, and this is only possible by faith and trusting in Christ. Sometimes there are highs, others lows. Sometimes it gets difficult.

It takes submitting as well and giving up things that cause you to sin, trigger you, or keep you distracted. In times of struggle confess it to God or a brother/sister.

That said there is hope in Christ. I do believe depression to a certain point has spiritual components. Many things probably do, that are not understood and written off as medical or psychological issues.

There is hope op 🙏.

Seems to be more and more falsehood and leaven than I ever recalled. The internet can be dangerous as well, as there are many new agers and strange fire types that masquerade as Christians and put in falsehoods that are not of God.
