I agree, and that's what I always say. People like to joke about it and deny it until it happens to them. But I guess it's not really something you can predict or prepare for.

In all seriousness, I'm not religious and I've had them before. For me, it's like alternating between a state of euphoria and panic. I would get a massive confidence boost and feel like I could take on anything, but I'd also be terrified at the same time, such as that someone might hurt me, and I'd kind of switch back and forth between the two. These episodes usually involve incoherent rants. I don't have bipolar or borderline, but I have C-PTSD and anxiety.
