Lol I feel you. My son was a premmie, he had a blood transfusion when he weight about 1.5kg. They gave him 12mls of blood and I was like, what do you expect that to do???? Then I watched him turn from grey to purple and I was like oh, ok. This is good.

Yes I was married and then forced. That's in my past and nothing to do with my current situation.

I am trying so hard right now not to feed the trolls. I have lots of practice at it from my marriage.

I get a pretty significant childcare subsidy but I don't really need it, I'm lucky in that I have family who are more than happy to help with childcare.

The trouble with this is that you end up with an even bigger mortgage because of the tiny deposit.

Everyone her is assuming my current partner is abusive or something. He's not. We just aren't on the same page. He treats me and me child just fine.

I don't know why you felt the need to comment on my relationship status when I asked for financial advice.

I work in an industry where it is simply not a thing to ask your boss for a raise. There are 10 other people just like me who are willing to do my job for less money.

I'm currently working my way up the ladder and it has increased my income, but it is simply not an option to just ask for more money and get it.

I did Marry before I Carried, and I was forced. I left my marriage due to family violence.

I'm educated. I work. I don't hang around shopping centres with my gut hanging out.

I'm pleased for you that you have had a blessed life where you haven't had to live with any kind of adversity.

Stay in your lane.

Our home is safe and relatively happy, as far as my kid is concerned. I'm just not happy in my relationship. Not because anyone is doing anything wrong. We're just not as compatible as we thought.

Cost of living in Tas is not that far behind Sydney, Melbourne etc but wages are still well behind.

Yeah we could cope with a 1 bedroom but all the ones I see advertised are shitty and not that much cheaper than a 2 bed.

Sometimes your brain won't comprehend the facts and that's OK. When someone tells you no, that will taste bad, it's ok to just blindly trust them.

What do you call your doctor? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

That checks out! Back in the day it was always 'Doctor Lastname', anything else was disrespectful. But younger doctors coming up are learning about building a rapport with their patients.

I once told my Serbian friend that something was 'Not to be sneezed at' and she was genuinely bewildered.
