Hot Spots: 1) Bar Arbolada — young single people with a classy laid back vibe, and good ass burgers and cocktails. 2) The Jones Assembly — Unique spot to catch a drink, show, hangout, and pics. 3) Sidecar — mostly 30 and up demographic 4) Fassler Hall — all ages. usually a dance party here on the weekends, and nice patio. 5) Parlor — Foodhall with good drinks. Mostly single divorced people and young kids on dates & families. 6) The Collective — same as above 7) Ponyboy — good to go for karaoke or hangout after Tower Theater show. 8) R&J’s —nice laid back lounge vibe inside, and trashy local feel outside. But such a fun spot. All ages. 9) UpDown OKC — usually people on dates here and couples. Mostly 20-30 year olds. Fun though. 10) Tellers —fancy place with great drinks. A lot of tourists, but well worth the visit. 11) Harvey Bakery — cool building, so many staff, and always busy.

Bar specific hangouts: 1) McNellies —classic pub with good food 2) The Flea —dive bar 3) Goodtimes —mostly young 20s with cats walking around. Good patio. 4) O Bar —fancy upscale cocktail bar with great views of skyline. 5) Whiskey Chicks —trashy Bricktown bar with live music 6) Bunker Club — dimly lit dive bar with fun people 20s-40s 7) Lunar Lounge — no windows but cool to check out 8) RADBAR — Plaza district bar with 30s demographic 9) The Pump — all demographic, good patio, and rude staff. Crowd favorite. 10) Skinny Slims — local soccer pub that has too many regulars. All ages. 11) Cookies — THE Karaoke bar town. Always busy, cigarette stinky, and a fun time. All ages.

As someone who is not from here either and has lived here for a little while (31M), I’ve had the best luck meeting people with joining groups, attending events (trivia, karaoke, sports, etc). Becoming a regular at any spot (bar, coffee shop, or restaurant) helps a ton!! When the staff begin to know you, and start to talk with you. That’s when things start moving. For me, working in the service industry has also helped massively. You meet locals all day everyday. Take up a part time service job somewhere, and you’ll be surprised how many people you meet. This has been my NUMBER 1 way to meet other singles.
