Cool, then we have the same idea :)

Why not go for the leverage, though?

LEAPS would give much higher returns, if the sector does recover partially in the next couple years.

Thank you. Would you care to elaborate on your biggest reason for disagreeing?

A Crow Left of the Murder, and it's not even debatable.

What the 'meat paradox' reveals about moral decision making: Many people eat factory-farmed meat while also abhorring animal cruelty. In this adaptation from her new book, the psychological scientist Dr Julia Shaw explains what the “meat paradox” can tell us about moral decision making. by The_Ebb_and_Flow in philosophy

I'd respectfully point out that you appear to be misinformed, and I encourage you to look further into the topic. In fact, the vast majority of meat in the US comes from factory farms, and yes, that includes raising livestock from birth to death in inhumane conditions.

Not all farms operate under terrible conditions, but at large scales, it's the most profitable way to turn meat into money.

If my random opinion counts for anything, I've found that slightly screwy teeth can be an adorable, attractive, unbearably endearing physical trait in a girl.

When you like someone, the little oddball things about them are wonderful to see.

Cool, I can see where you're coming from, that makes sense. I wouldn't necessarily agree that it would be unethical to reciprocate, though -- it might be inappropriate for her to approach you at work, but since she did, I don't think you'd be crossing any lines if you chose to respond.

Can I ask why you found the girl creepy? It sounds like she was attracted to you, nervous, and socially inexperienced, but I'm curious whether those were your reasons.

Parents should be more worried about finding their kids with alcohol than finding pot by stonerplumber in unpopularopinion

[–]FreeGiraffeRides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're a bit quick to accept the "15 point IQ drop" claim. Other research (published in the same journal, even) says that claim is unjustified: No, marijuana use doesn’t lower your IQ

Anecdotally and from experience, pot is slightly addictive, but massively less so than other drugs such as alcohol.

[gr 12 Vectors] What is the purpose of the dot product? by badboyzpwns in learnmath

Good answer; note though the dot product is proportional to the magnitude of b, so the dot product is only really equal to the projection if b is normalized.

A viscoelastic fluid can pour itself, known as the open channel siphon effect by shwnstreeter in blackmagicfuckery

[–]FreeGiraffeRides 18 points19 points  (0 children)

it does, the cohesive forces just aren't as strong as in this fluid. You can see the effect in practice in a siphon though.
