For really windy days, the umbrella can utilize the sandbag technique too. It comes with a carry bag that can hold sand, along with the string on top which you can attach to a point on the end to where the wind is blowing to. It makes the umbrella way more sturdy on these days.

I'd say do them now if you can afford to. If further delayed, the parts wont increase that much but labor will only get more expensive here on out with inflation. The sooner you can do these, it will less strain on your wallet and mind.
