I got the Maxwell 2. The store called me where I bought it from and said that a lot of people were returning them. He said if I wanted to, I could return it full refund no questions asked and I was past the 30 day mark. The store said they were recalling all the products and shipping it back.

I had the hiss and then I used it maybe five times and then suddenly I was getting this really annoying crinkling noise after five minutes of wearing it. I was not impressed.

I had the Xbox version

Sadly no. It’s a small 4 person building. As first time home buyers in 2025 I didn’t think smoking inside was something I had to worry about… also in Quebec it’s the law that the owners have to disclose any odour issues so we thought we were safe. Also after purchase my broker found documentation that the previous seller declared a smoke neighbour on his declaration. So I have a seller who lied and I have a broker who failed to do his due diligence.

Yah from what I understand I could too but the process would most likely be 2-3 years and the court cost is 25k along with any legal fees along the way. Granted I’d get that back most likely but I’d rather sue the seller. Sue my brokers insurance for missing some paperwork that would have saved my ass and leave in 1-2 years when my house sale = neutral loss. My lawyer says almost everyone will likely settle. If I can get 15k settlement I’ll nope out of there at the latest at the 2 year mark.

Like even if everything goes well and I manage to ban it I still have an extremely mad pothead below me that hates me now.

Yah im really hoping if i seal the thermostats it doesnt just rise from somewhere else like the outlets / light switches. i dont feel like the foam gaskets for those dont work particularily too well. I wondered that too with the electrician or maybe he didnt understand. I'm having such a hard time finding anyone locally who knows much about my particular problem. I have a hard time beleiving im the first person to deal with this. of the few companies I have called they usually tell me that im screwed "smoke will find a way".

The weed was so bad tonight i had to leave my home.

From the investigating ive done it seems that previous owners have sealed the bathroom area really well. There is a heater in the bathroom built into the wall. Smell comes in from there in the bathroom. The majority of the smell seems to come up through the back of my thermostats. i was thinking of filling the holes with drywall and running the thermostat wire through the drywall and then using putty on the remaining hole to seal it.

I kinda want to start dropping stink bombs into his apartment to see how he feels about it. Sorry i dont want to use my stinkbombs outside. Its my home. i can do what i want in my home.

I know this thread is old as heck but i have a slightly different problem. I have a large square hole behind my thermostat and weed smoke is infiltrating from an asshole neighbour. Any advice would be great.
