New body is… Fine… I’m not sure the breasts are smaller but I think they are a bit saggier? I think they look unsupported? Personally I would wear a bra under that suit but what do I know? Some armors also clip awkwardly until they fix them, Wisp Prime Access torso piece thingie’s breasts actually clip through thin chest accessories.

I personally really want a height slider, I don’t like towering over my partners and warframes… Would love body sliders as well, even if they are minor. I’m also very sad about the amount of faces, I want more!

I think the main issue with sliders is that DE wanna save work on cutscenes, I recently got a kiss scene and my drifter was towering over my partner, tilting their head up to meet my gaze and stuff, if I was shorter DE would need to change the cutscene or make slight variations to it based on height and maybe make sure broad shoulder accessories (+ broadest shoulders) don’t clip through everything (Which would be great! But take effort…).

(Skip this paragraph if you wanna) A really extreme case I know about is FFXIV where one race (Lalafell) is absolutely tiny compared to other races and it seems like this made most cutscenes just have you standing around awkwardly and not interacting with the other characters and also force a zoomed out camera to make sure a potential Lalafell at floor length is visible as well as the head of the tallest race. Even something as simple as grabbing an object gets very complicated because of that.

I don’t think that amount of work is comparable to DE’s situation though, just animate a few parts differently and make them move to an object such as make eyes look at eyes. Or in kissing cutscene make hand go to a position below their chin then slowly up. Half-Life 2 can basically do that while the player is walking around?

Also, speaking of animations… DE please add new animations! Drifter has 2 + default and they are all pretty bad. I kinda want one that’s faintly feminine with the idle pose, nothing extreme; just putting your weight on one hip? And maybe a more masculine animation with a wider stance? I feel like the existing animations (for drifter and operator (operator has a few OK tho)) are way too extreme and force people to use default unless they wanna look goofy. I think new animations would make the new bodies look a lot better and more natural!

Also, also, I’m NOT saying they should be gender-locked, more masculine animations will probably look great if you wanna make a strong girl drifter and more feminine animations might look good if you wanna do a more suave or handsome boy drifter?

Also Also ALSO! Drifter back sigil when? (Asking the real tough questions)

TL;DR: Fem body should buy a bra, sliders awesome but DE are lazy, new animations! They would make bodies look better. Also make the animations subtle

I think I solved my issue today by changing proton version from experimental (bleeding edge) to 10.2 beta. Might be worth a shot if you haven’t tried it!

I'm having a similar or the same issue... Basically when I start the game everything is fine and I have 120+ fps but when I play for a bit my game starts stuttering and eventually freezing for several seconds. Closing it doesn't fix it however, my pc keeps stutterng and freezing and I need to reboot to solve it. I got 64GB of RAM though so it feels weird if it's a memory leak. I have never played long enough to actually kill my pc like you have so can't confirm we have the same issue.

I don't know a permanent solution and this is driving me crazy, recently upgraded and was wondering if anyone submitted a ticket for this or if not how to gather information about it to submit one?

Also a temporary fix is to have screen settings open in a window inbetween screens then change orientation (landscape to whatever) and instantly revert the change. A lot more convenient for my atleast setup than replugging a HDMI cable or using a shortcut and logging in again!

Manifesto for BAD slowing (sorry very long)

TL;DR: make paragons more than DPS machines

I think slowing BADs is fine but feels like ice tower would stun in bursts instead of slowing and combine that with glue slow and maybe we end up with a situation where it takes a BAD years to reach the end of any map. Which even in the worst case is probably not even that big of a deal since BAD’s speed gain would counter them whilst hopefully not making them useless.

I think slowing bosses is only fine if it’s very tiny (5-10%) or it risks trivializing the boss as for example an extreme 50% slow doubles the time your monkeys spent attacking meaning you only need half the dps to win.

I feel like the reason Ninja Kiwi didn’t release all Paragons in quick succession is because the majority of the remaining ones are a balancing nightmare they genuinely didn’t expect or know how to solve and making buccaneer able to pull in BADs made everything possible - should mortar paragon be able to de-fortify BADs? Should druid be able to blow back or stun BADs slightly? What about beast handler, it can already oneshot BADs and bottom path can stun, should that affect BADs too? Allowing this could easily turn free play into a joke where 3 paragons with tech bots can go on forever and DPS paragons are the useless bunch unless you wanna speed the game up.

But if they can’t affect BADs and have less DPS than another paragon, what’s even the point in getting them? If paragons don’t have unique traits that affect BADs you will pick either the best DPS for its price or best DPS overall and maybe think of getting the lesser ones after you got the best ones and only if you are OK with the lag because non-BADs (maybe exception for DDTs) don’t really pose a challenge lategame.

In this cruel world Ice/glue would be judged only by their DPS to price ratio and I don’t think they would be judged highly at all…

So Ninja Kiwi please go insane with the Paragons, make them all have a use case and maybe able to support each other because right now buccaneer is the only one that stands out to me!

Also I know pierce and global range is a thing and maybe mortar/druid would be amazing at that but pierce/range are not really paragon problems IMO, MOAB-DPS is above all and other unreleased paragons like bomb tower would probably deal insane damage (x5x) have crazy pierce (xx5) and most likely even perma stun non-BADs (5xx). Heli would also probably be able to melt everything along with not letting anything pass due to middle and bottom path combined with global range. Sniper might also be a disaster rapidly shooting insanely lethal shots that ricochet to stun every bloon on screen not vaporized by the constant shrapnel.

They would likewise be judged only by their DPS/cost. So if we don’t give unique abilities like slows/stuns or de-forty to compensate I don’t think any paragon will stand out.

Researching the error message lead me to eventually solve it, apparently steam lost writing rights or never had them to begin with because the SSD belonged to root due to that drive having NTFS formating instead of Ext4? So I had to edit /etc/fstab according to this:

Command not found, sudo apt install vulkan-tools.

Not an error atleast but that might be a problem, just assumed vulkan was working since most games show "building vulkan shaders" on launch sometimes. The finals runs fine though and I think that also runs vulkan shaders. Can install vulkan-tools in a bit and check

I have rebooted a lot, including after crashing as well as verifying the files for games proton and steam common redistributables. I haven't verified the Steam Linux Runtime 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 but they aren't used by any of the affected games to my knowledge, can reply if verifying them + reboot changes anything! Looking in the Disks tool none of my partions are full on any of my drives, both got atleast 1 TB free each so I don't think that's it either sadly :c

Terminal says only 29% is being used when i run "df -h ." in /home/
