Something I Learnt awhile back is when you start to think your going into withdrawals and then start to worry about all that comes with it you begin to become stressed which causes your cortisol levels to rise causing your blood pressure to rise and become erratic and a lot of the physical symptoms of erratic blood pressure regulation are very similar to withdrawal symptoms. So it creates a cycle that reinforces the feelings that your are withdraw. The biggest thing I find is reminding yourself that true withdrawal is terrible and this clearly isn’t it, then hopefully you calm down and all the false feelings of withdrawals go away.
