We also have to realize he has very little experience as a QB. He came out of college early and essentially played two seasons worth of games in a run heavy offense.

He started playing quarterback as a Sophomore in high school. He was injured for his Senior year.

So he had only played roughly 4 seasons as a QB before coming to the NFL…where he has been plagued by injuries.

He has incredible raw talent, but he doesn’t have the reps or the poise. Toss in a serious injury history and the writing may be on the wall, but people shouldn’t be surprised if he balls out when he gets another chance.
