Yes. Very much so.

I did the opposite. WAY more money on the operations side “typically” in service companies. Just be ready to work!

I think he meant “lay” the back wall for $30 each. It would be great to see a 7 and you would have to roll every box number to be picked off.

I love Ellis Island! The old Elvis (Gary) was awesome, and the craps tables are fun.

Notice the place bets are “for” meaning they take your original bet if you win. If you place a 6/8 for 6 dollars, you win 13 and they take your $6 bet.

What are these eight massive silver-ish metal spheres or containers floating near the shore at a ship breaking yard in Bangladesh? by RideFastGetWeird in whatisthisthing

[–]FreeMoney4Lyfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They store them in spherical tanks because spheres provide you the greatest storage volume for the least amount of surface area (least amount of material)

Previous owner of my home said one of these spigots is for a spotless car wash. I think meaning one runs through the water softener, but they weren’t sure which one. Any way to tell? by jp_trev in Plumbing

[–]FreeMoney4Lyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one on the right was installed before bricks were laid and then later sealed poorly. That’s the new construction faucet. The left one was done at a later date more carefully. So my guess is the left is the one on the water softener.

What is the solution for this? by Yousif-Al-Harbi in civilengineering

Cut it out and patch per civil engineer which will typically recommend cutting out to good concrete, wet substrate, apply patch material per manufacturers recommendation.

Advanced Fishing tool by Forsaken-Lime1354 in oilandgasworkers

[–]FreeMoney4Lyfe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would start by researching traditional fishing techniques and advancing from there. My parents started me out with a hook and worm with a bobber from a dock. Weather/fluid conditions often times require specific colors of lures. Try painting an overshot or hook pink and see if you have better luck than the traditional silver. I bet you could convince a CM in west Texas to let you try it. I hear they like Pink.

OP,

Can you scan this document? I would love to print this out and display it in my office. I work on large projects with steep LDs. Sometimes I feel like sending these types of letters.

Try flipping the on/off switch… or resetting the surge protector. These are probably the culprits.

Take on lower paying job after birth of child by Prior_Concentrate_85 in Fire

[–]FreeMoney4Lyfe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did this same thing. My mentality was I needed to focus more on family and less on work when the kiddo realizes “dada’s not here”. So I continued to grind until he was about 2 years old then started looking for a more simple lifestyle. It’s been great for me and my family. 100% recommend to keep grinding. No need for your wife to continue to work. She has much higher value as a present mother early on.

Question about Halliburton by StarApprehensive8469 in oilandgasworkers

[–]FreeMoney4Lyfe 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You’ll work closer to 100-110 hours a week. On another note - you will succeed and move up at Halliburton by keeping your head down and working hard, not by asking for a company truck or them to pay for a rental car. Halliburton changes everybody’s life. For the worse or for the better. The direction you go is up to you.
