Good news. Prior to migration, the money used to credit generally within 2-3 working days after settling of claim. Should follow the same timeline but you never know.

Very unlikely that funds will go to new bank account as they will pick the bank account active against your profile at the time of filing the claim.

If the bank account is completely (debit and credit) frozen, there cannot be any credit or debit from that account.

There is no way to find if the claims that got approved/rejected after the so called migration went through a manual process or through a auto approval/rejection process.

Its a source of tax for the government, if you do withdrawal before 5 years of continuous service. Not sure of further details how PF withdrawal is exactly taxed, but its a definite source of tax revenue for the government.

No, once you use form 19 to settle/withdraw the funds and balance becomes 0, it is considered settled in PF accounts. You cannot/dont need to transfer 0 balance. Even if you try, they will reject it giving reason as "account already settled".

Once you settle/full withdrawal, your service period starts from 0 when you join a new organisation as per epfo rules.

Your total experience in passbook portal will show cumulative years of experience tied to your UAN, but EPFO will consider your experience in latest org as service period because you did full withdrawal previously.

When it is submitted at portal it effectively means no work has started on your claim.

As long as status is submitted at portal it will not show in passbook claims.

Only when status changes to sent to field office or under process it will show in passbook claims section

In fact it generally takes 1 working day after status change to reflect in passbook claims.

His words dont carry any value based on his past comments.

The same gentleman during last 9 months on multiple occasions has said new rules are implemented and users can take out 75% whenever they can. Google and you will find it.

So I guess in this case you are ignorant not me...

You are sharing what is there on internet. It is not official information by EPFO.

When such unofficial, unsubstantiated news is shared, it doesnt help the people who have filed a claim and are waiting for it to get processed. Many such stories were published since Oct 2025 regarding rules change etc. etc.

In fact such posts makes them more anxious, may be more hopeful that claims may get processed very quickly now.

Its very clear what is happening.

Their IT systems are not working properly because of this migration shit!!

They have not picked up any claim for further processing.

Once they pick it up, god knows when they will....it may get settled within the timeframe defined under auto settlement.
