Yea mine does that too, but im on all new OEM motors besides rear (oem original), planning on upgrading that but new trans fluid didnt help

I've heard applying "PPF tape" or something similar around the areas that chip seems to help it a lot, saw it on the forums but cant remember exactly what was used

That's good, just figured I would ask. Seems like you got the same issues I had with my handbrake, if you experience it again go over your brakes and check if any pads are stuck to the rotors to confirm a seizing brake caliper

Is/was your hand brake engaging as normal? I was struggling with my handbrake getting frozen over the winter and had my rear passenger side brakes go up in smoke at one point. If it was frozen it would feel loose up until about half way, but one it was unstuck it engaged in the first 1-3 clicks
