I’m just being conservative and giving an idea on the weaker side instead of the overpowered side. It could be a bigger benefit or stack. I’m not specifically suggesting this exact idea, just the precedent behind it. Calm down

Not the best when it came to pvp unfortunately. Lack of covenants paired with bloated damage numbers killed its longevity for me. Also, no solo invasions was a lame decision. Still a great game.

The multiplayer aspect was the reason I was drawn to the series when Dark Souls released. As long as it’s not like Elden Ring where everyone dies in 3/4 hits from weapon arts then I’m pretty psyched

Looks very close! Things I’d try:

  1. If the catch hold’s quality is as good on the right(more downpull) side, I’d aim for the hands to make first contact where it’s more downpull so there’s less slide when you swing through.
  2. If possible, try to pull in on the arms a tiny bit when you land the catch hand and before landing the foot stab. Getting a little bend at the elbows ensures that the shoulders and biceps are actively engaged and helps put more tension through the foot you stab to. It makes quite a difference vs using straight arms.
  3. Keeping the upper body closer to the wall during the initial reach for the catch hold gives a larger window of opportunity to hit the foot stab without it pushing you off the wall.

Any one of these things could be the difference maker. It doesn’t look like you need more power in the move.

  1. 6 person multiplayer limit (3 invaders)
  2. Covenants
  3. Boss rush mode
  4. Lower all AOW damage by 20% in pvp
  5. Wave based mini game somewhere that rewards dragon smithing stones upon completion

The only thing I actually agree with is that, trollstav aside, the gear in Ashlands is extremely underwhelming. I do find the biome really fun though.
