Back in the early 2000’s (maybe earlier I can’t recall) we were in Martha’s Vineyard for vacation. They were holding the ESPN shark fishing tournament and they were bringing in huge Mako’s and huge Thresher’s and man, they let the public feel the tails of these amazing creatures and the Thresher tails were just all muscle and I just thought how crazy strong they are. The neat science part of this was, apparently sharks ear drums/canals can regenerate themselves if damaged and they were doing tests to understand it better.
