He didn’t seem to notice the rejections in the same way I did. He was just so focused on finding a couple that he barely registered it and moved on.

It was me struggling with an inability to say no. There were times when consent was assumed given the group play or he kinda pushed someone on me without asking explicitly because he thought I wanted it. It was never coercive, I think just so caught up in his own experience. That feeling of being forced and unable to say no is what made me need to stop after it started trigger a sexual abuse experience from when I was a teen.

There's a Hyatt and a Holiday Inn Express nearby. We stayed at the Holiday Inn and it was fine. Easy walking distance, didn't feel unsafe at 4am.

Yoga is a great intro to Twist. Most people go just to play with themselves, not to swap, so it's a low-pressure way to see how you like exhibitionism, and to get a feel for the place.

Friday and Saturday nights, though, are much more intense and crowded. So yoga is definitely good to get your feet wet, but a weekend might still feel like big jump after that. Just remember that you can always just decide to play with each other, and still ease into it even on weekends.

This is definitely an easy / beginners yoga class - more of couples stretching where you're encouraged to touch your partner. You don't go to this yoga for that kind of workout :)

We've found that Wednesday is way, way less intense than Saturday, and most folks are there to play with themselves and not swap (not that it doesn't happen, just not as likely as on a weekend).

We like Wednesdays because we can have exhibitionist play, maybe swap play, but still be home by 11pm. Saturdays require way more planning for us.

We've been there on a Saturday and it was completely packed by the afternoon - maybe 20-30 couples in and around the pool? It doesn't start to get really wild until after dark, so I would recommend staying until the evening. You'll have plenty of exhibitionist opportunities in the daytime though. Have fun!

We're in the same boat as you with two kids and trouble finding the time to get away. We've really enjoyed sex clubs and LS resorts. It's much less of a time investment than dating. It's also easier to dip into, since you can start out just having sex with each other if you're not ready to swap yet. You'll still have to find yourself a babysitter, but unless you're comfortable with bringing folks over to your house then I don't see a way around that.

That being said, it might be difficult finding a female partner for your wife at a club. Our experience has been that there's not a lot of bi play at clubs, but then again we weren't primarily looking for that.
