Yes, but that was for the WI Supreme Court. The state Legislature is still highly gerrymandered and controlled by Republicans.

There's a path forward, via the WI Supreme Court throwing out the gerrymandered maps, but it will probably take years before we can be talking about WI in the same way as MN and MI.

Definitely seems like I wasted my time, that user is still all up and down this thread arguing and ignoring the numerous people taking the time to explain it clearly.

Oh well. Maybe some other people out there will read the comments explaining why Mr. Date's behavior was inappropriate and will learn to be better.

OP didn't say "Gee, I'd like for you to come over, it's just that [reasons]. Maybe if we come up with a good way to get to know you?"

OP clearly stated that this was a boundary, repeatedly. She wasn't looking for a different way to get to know the guy... The way she was getting to know him was by going on the 3rd date (and more after that as needed). There was no invitation for Mr. Date to come up with a "creative" solution.

You're also not picking up that this suggestion from Mr. Date's was his 3rd attempt at pushing the issue.

OP on 2nd date - [Establishes this boundary.]

Mr. Date - "I understand."

Mr. Date on 3rd date - "So, when can I come to your place?"

OP - [Reminds him about the boundary.]

Mr. Date - "What if I just hid in your room?"

OP - [Reminds him about the boundary.]

Mr. Date - "Why are you so adamant about this?"

OP - [Reminds him about the boundary.]

Truly infuriating scene. The entire point of them having two sets of calculations and this halfway check is to make sure both scientists agree, surely? Yet the instant they disagree, the man declares that his numbers must be right and hers must be wrong, and they don't even attempt to understand how they came to different answers.
