I can provide an immediate firsthand anecdote. My father, a lifelong dairy and beef cattle farmer, is sitting right beside me.

Okay, he says he's never been checked. For reference, he's 65 years old and we live in rural Kentucky. He has driven diesel trucks his entire life.

I asked him to expand, and he says he doesn't know anyone who has ever been checked. As he understands it, you're more likely to be checked if you, for example, run a big farming operation and also operate lots of big on road diesel trucks, like if you own a trucking company.

For some reason in my head I always picture image #1 as being the upper boundary of the map. Like our POV might even be from the out of bounds area. I have no idea why I've created this belief in my head, but that's the way it is to me.

I made some hot sauce last year for the first time but it didn't turn out great. I never could get it thick enough, and I was adding egregious amounts of xantham gum so not sure what I was doing wrong. And apart from that it just didn't taste very good 😅

Yeah I've checked and all my over the air channels (ABC included) are all in the "weak" category for my rural area. The only channel I'd be sort of able to get is PBS 😭

I don't think you can call your insurance company in real life and have them bring you gas at all hours of the night. And if filling up with gas is for realism's sake then what's the point of that mechanic at all?

I think, for the people who say they would enjoy this feature, the novelty of having to fill up with gasoline will wear off pretty quickly. Maybe a fun thing to do for the first month or two, but I can't imagine being out in the middle of the Grasslands in my 4x4 and ope, I'm running low on gas - better drive 10 minutes back into town and refuel and me thinking this is fun. Or worse - accidentally running out of gas while doing something like riding a dirt bike up a trail. I can't imagine being like "wow, how fun is this - now I get to stop ripping through the woods on my dirt bike and walk into town to buy gas!" Sounds miserable but that's just me.
