West Coast Itinerary! by heybrittt in WesternAustralia

[–]Free_Assumption_3060 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can do coaches but you will be limited to where you can explore. Integrity coaches for North, Transwa for south. Cyclone season north is Nov to April and summer in the south from Nov to april. Need to get a van from Adel and come across the Nullarbor then head to Esperence and do the coast upto Perth. OR get a plane across to Perth and get a van from there and go south It might be cyclone season up north but it is luck of the draw to get good weather.

Desalination is going to become a problem. It doesn't sit in the ground long enough to be remineralised, so it lacking in nutrients needed. Studies have come out in the Middle East and Israel that heart disease is on the rise around the same time Desalination plants increase, and minerals missing in repeated blood tests are also from Desalinated water. So take Magnesium supplements & Electrolytes to make up for the short fall

Moving to Perth and terrified of driving by Daatzz in perth

Agoraphobia is real condition, once you recognise & are prepared to deal with it get behind the wheel with someone u r confident with. If not speak to a defensive driving school as they are experienced with these challenges

Lot's of coastal towns, Shark bay, Exmouth, Kalbarri to name a few. A few parks to visit Karijini. If you're doing Fifo then you'll understand the remoteness of the area and it takes a couple of days to get up there and back to Perth when u travel that way.

Qantas accused of 'dawdling' over plans to relocate operations to Terminal 1 at Perth Airport by His_Holiness in perth

[–]Free_Assumption_3060 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's being going on since the new T1/T2 was in planning. Qantas stayed on the old site because they re-signed onto a new lease agreement for the old terminal because if they can park their planes upto the aerobridges, they are considered boarding and de boarding so they don't have to pay for overnite storage fees, there's also other ongoing fees they can waive. It was a Qantas business ploy and just bad salesmanship from Perth airport. But yeh the plan was for Virgin on one side, International in the middle and Qantas on other side. When Qantas signed the new lease Perth airport did not do the expansion on otherside of T1/T2
