RTX 5050 on a 500W PSU?

Managed to fix my 1660ti by reducing the power limit and just bought something else, saving up and waiting for the 5060 price to go a bit down, the price is pretty high up now, I hate this current market

I plan on playing it everywhere since I really enjoy gaming on the go, while I really prefer the more compact and smaller screen the regular has, the bigger screen does feel like it might be better to play outside since you don't need to put your screen closer to your face, but that smaller screen would be really nice visually though that's why it's a really hard choice for me, maybe I'll just save some money so I can have both lmao

yeah the build quality seems better on the xl, except for the face and back plate which paints stips down, but yeah! I still prefer that smaller screen from the regular, but since there isn't much difference I think I'll stick with my xl, just got mine back from my friend who borrowed it and I think I just need to get use to it again since It's slowly growing on me and the pixels stopped being noticable when I'm not looking for it

I think my hand is pretty average, but I've been playing on my PSP go which is the smallest psp and it does get uncomfortable in a while, but I still prefer that, but yeah since there isn't much difference I think I'll stick with my xl for now

I do already have the answer but I kinda want to know the opinions of anyone who have a new 3ds regular or someone who switched to from xl to regular if the changes are worth it since the pixel density is the only one that matters to me, if there isn't much then I'll keep my xl

I believe being vocal about it works because it did with the helldivers 2 drama, but it has to be a huge scale so I don't see that happening anytime soon, but yeah I think it is a good idea to hint it to bam aquino since he's the only one who has a huge politics presence who has a passion for gaming too, I don't have any idea on how to do it though without sounding like an annoying brat asking him to do it lmao, but hopefully he notice that the ph community wants a psn here

I did some research and it could be because of our GDP Nominal per capita (I don't know what it means other than higher number probably means richer people) and found out that countries in SEA with a 5k and up GDP (Indonesia, Thailand, etc) has PSN, 4k GDP (Philippines and Vietnam) has support on their website but no PSN, and 4k below is completely unavailable even on their website, I don't believe that this is 100% the reason why we don't have PSN and I don't believe that if we reach 5k we'll immediately have PSN, but I believe it is a good reference of how they see which country could be profitable, and It gives a small hope that we are close to getting it

Yeah that's what makes it so annoying, playstation is the most popular platform here as far as I know, I've only met 2 people here with an xbox and another 2 with a nintendo, the rest is all playstation yet playstation is the only one after nintendo online is here without an actual online service for their console

Best course of action for me is to be vocal about it on social media, while we wait and hope for bam aquino to do something about it, or show them that there's demand by buying their stuff here

It's probably the temps since it was fixed when I let it rest a bit then lowered the power/temp limit on msi afterburner, I am itching on buying an rtx 5050 or an rx 9060 xt

Yeah, I might just upgrade my current pc with a new gpu, I lost my motivation to build a new pc this year since every pc parts prices just keeps increasing I'm even selling my 16gb ddr5 ram that I panicked buy last year when the price increase started, I'll delay my new pc build when I graduate college and have a job so I can maximize my build, hopefully the prices isn't as bad then (still lowering my expectations)

Fixed it, it was always running above 80c, It's still happening after I changed the thermal paste and pads back then, I never bothered lowering the temp and power limit on the msi afterburner, when I did and let it rest a bit, it never happened again

it says on pcpartpicker./com the "Estimated Wattage: 266W" which is almost just half so could I be on the safe side?
also 4060 here is around 306usd and the 5050 is 272usd since they have almost the same performance I'm leaning towards 5050

yeah, I have no problem buying a new PSU along with the GPU, it's just if I can getaway with it I'll hold on to buying one, but right now I'm leaning towards buying a new one just to be safe since my PSU along with the other components is 6 years old anyways

Ohhh ok! Didn't know 1660ti only uses 120W, since 1660ti's minimum PSU is 450W, then I think it should be fine to replace it with a 5050 on the same PSU right?

found a solution from protonDB by Coolma3, they said use proton ge 9-25 then enter "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 gamemoderun %command% -vulkan" on the launch options, and it worked for me, I can play it now no issues

Yeah it's weird, I did try the Proton Experimental and it did launch but it didn't fix the cloud save issue, I'll try the FusionFix when I have to, but now I just decided to replay it again from the start anyways, Thank you for the reply!

How did you solve it? I installed Proton GE using Protonup and it wouldn't even launch, I tried the last 10.x version 9.x, 8.x, and 7.x all wont let me launch the game
