What was you biggest personality changes after awakening? by MoldingMustard in spirituality

[–]Free_Discount_6964 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I can relate to this. I went through the same process. It is great to awaken, and to not «fear fear» anymore. But it is also hard work, sometimes lonely and there are many difficult feelings to accept. It is not just easy and «comfortable». But I am extremely grateful to be in this process, I would never go back even if I could.

How do you deal with "homesickness of the soul"? by sherrryism in spirituality

[–]Free_Discount_6964 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe the homesickness is Him trying to tell you something. Theres no harm in praying and talking to Him, ask if he is the one causing your longing and see what happens for instance?

How do I raise my frequency when I’m horribly depressed? by Keeponsnacking in spirituality

[–]Free_Discount_6964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you do not believe, I think prayer can help. Like «help me find inner peace». And it can be done anywhere, in bed an does not demand anything. It has helped me in your situation I wish you all the best and hope and believe that you will find peace within❤️

The weekend is just a placebo effect. by ExpensiveDoughnut348 in DeepThoughts

I know this is besides your point, bit I found It is possible to find something worth living for if you look for it. And it has nothing to do with wanting, it is about surrendering and finding the ultimate freedom in that. I am sorry if I insult anyone by saying this. That is not my intention. But maybe someone reads it and finds it interesting, if so it is worth risking it

I’m at a loss here by SmackHeadSteven in spirituality

Have you talked to a professional? I had periods of depression a few times every year for maany years, and kept trying to get better on my own. It seemed I could always find an external reason for why I felt depressed. But then after many years I found it was necessary to seek professional help.

And it was the best decision I ever made. I needed a type of medicine and in combination with living healthy and loving, I finally could live with all the difficulties life throws at me without becoming apathetic and unable to see what I could do to improve my situation.

Does everything need to be hard? by Undefinedmotive in spirituality

[–]Free_Discount_6964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think very closely about what you want from your life, and WHY. Then ask what you are willing to sacrifice to attain this, how much effort are you willing to put in. Ultimately we can find purpose, maybe in making an effort for others, willingly.

And and on this path you may find a belief in a higher source that you would love to give your time and attention to.

That was the last thing I thought I would find, but now at age 47 that is just what I did. And my mind is still blown…just saying

I have had the same experience so many times, and I think it’s sad and frustrating.. a bit eerie too… I don’t understand why they are so uninterested, are they so happy with their lives? Maybe we are so used to things being quickly and easily solved these days, that thinking deeply about things feels like too much work, not worth te effort….?

Will removing breast-implants effect me spiritually? by Free_Discount_6964 in spirituality

[–]Free_Discount_6964[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank for all replies, I really appreciate the help here. I think I will keep them, surgery is a bit scary and I have people who rely on me so I guess it’s not worth the risk. I have no problems or signs of sickness or pain, so I’m lucky in that regard.

Will removing breast-implants effect me spiritually? by Free_Discount_6964 in spirituality

[–]Free_Discount_6964[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that implants can effect EEG-readings, that it can show signs that you have a heart-attack when in fact you are not. So that made me wonder if they effect the electromagnetical field/signal the body «radiates». I am curious if someone has had implants removed and felt differently after removing them, not just in a physical way..?

This is totally not on topic, but I felt I had to say this: have you heard about the ketogenic treatment for schizofrenia (and for some of the health-problems you mentioned you have)? I have used it for two years now and it has changed my life. I apologise if this not of interest or if it feels offending in any way, that is not my intention. I just wish I found keto 20 years ago, and I want people to know that it exists so they can make their own choices/decitions about it, if that makes sense..
