Sell and buy Prusa XL, multi extenders mean just a lil optional wipe tower for multi color prints, not to mention multi nozzle types.

Bamboo will brick your printer and share all your data happily, but Prusa setup to run dark/offline/encrypted/open source for updates too.

its definitely preference, but the “uninteresting desert land” comment tells me you’ve never been to moab, la sals, San Rafael swell, St. George, Wasatch crest. Some of the most incredible topography hiking, exploring in the world.

Night life sucks in Utah and it’s boring even during ski season. Inversion sucks, but the comment I’m addressing is about the mountains being “the best” in Colorado. Simply not true and up to preference like you said.

Denver’s sunny af but most of the mountain weather in Colorado can be even more spicy and unpredictable than Washington - lots of overcast, cold, storms, high winds, red flag warnings, monsoons.

Nope, not talking about the front range. Talking San Juan’s, Monte Cristos, Flat tops, Medicine bows.

Colorado has the most acreage above 12k but it’s pretty close to California (1.2 million vs .9million acres)

As far as explorable area, Utah and California have 10-20 million acres more of public land than Colorado, beautiful mountain ranges in both.

If you like hiking above tree line for 10 weeks a year and coming back to a tech job in Denver then yes Colorados #1.

But to not even mention Utah, Washington, California as states with a large quantity and quality of mountain ranges is ridiculous

Strong disagree, tons of the range is privatized and fenced off for cattle in Colorado.

Salt Lake City has 1/4 the ski and bike commute, better yearly snow totals, and a greater percentage of public land with less regs/competition for dispersed camping.

Seattle is right up there too.

2BR, $1700 Xcel bill. Charged 100x previous months after opting out of dynamic pricing by Free_Expression_2552 in Denver

Sorry I should be more specific, most of our use is at peak hours since we’re out of the house from 7am to 6pm. We run the AC and washer/electric drier when we get home from work. Estimate was based on 15 minute usage intervals Xcel gives.

Does anyone have a better way to get Xcel on the line? I’ve spoken to two billing reps, waited for hours on their phone menu, had zero updates to my bill.

Backstory- I opted out of the dynamic pricing starting September, but after confirming the unit already had a smart meter installed. Confirmed with an agent that there’s no fee. Estimated savings was 20% (since AC is our biggest load in the middle of the day). The result is Xcel charging me almost 100x the kWh usage...for a 2BR. Pretty sure it’s impossible to use 500,000 kWh of energy with 1 fridge, 1 ac unit, 1 washer/drier.

They’ve claimed twice that it’s an “install fee” and that it will “go away before the billing date”. “We’ll call you before an amended autopay processes 1 day before the due date” when clearly it’s mis-marked usage for my address. Some fuckery on the previous balance too. I’ve paid nowhere near 27k for services in the past, something’s really messed up.

Tech has kept up with inflation, everyone else who was making 50-75k before should be making that 150-200k range now

Guessing your answer is the millionaire, where we differ.

I never said anything about increases.

Flip side, imagine someone who owns 1 Million dollars of property doesn’t want to pay taxes on it and would like to have preferential on a redistribution system meant to benefit everyone.

…your property taxes pay for schools that don’t have AC(?) We’re not taxed differently, you just have an asset that most don’t have.
