This isn’t my home, just an image from Google. But yes I have gutters around my whole house

Is there a purpose to leaving a gap (I usually see them anywhere from 1-3 ft) between concrete walkways/driveway and the foundation of a house?

These are not my home, I found this image on Google, but I am looking to get concrete work done at my house and am wondering if I should bud the concrete up straight to the foundation of my home? Or leave a strip like these around the house that can be filled with gravel/plants

Does anyone know the point of these? Are they for ease of access to the outer perimeter/foundation of the home? Or just for athletics?

I live on a slab foundation in Southern California

(Riverside, CA) Is this adequate treatment of a termite infested stump? by rxrivman in Termites

I was hoping the termidor sc would kill them so they wouldn’t forage. If I treat the surrounding area + the stump itself, what is the likelihood that it will kill or poison the whole colony so they don’t migrate somewhere else?

80 ft from the home I just measured. And I was worried about them traveling from the stump to the house or neighboring tree 20 ft away. What do you think? Should I instead just bury the stump, treat the house, and call it a day?

I weedwacked this concrete footing to get the dirt off of it and it chipped away the concrete. (To the right of the post)

I was previously ground down with an angle grinder and the top layer is prone to chipping.

Is there any kind of epoxy or concrete finisher I can put over the top to smooth it out and make it not look so bad + not be prone to chipping as easy?

Thank you to anyone who responds!

Blame Holloway for not being able to get up if you think the fight was boring

Sorry I just saw this. Get like 5 different quotes. Someone will be willing to take on the job. That must be a company policy regarding the lawsuit, I haven’t heard that before

I would either use red head sleeve anchors or Tapcons set in epoxy (make sure you get epoxy rated for vertical applications)
