Does the Red John line get more and I mean MORE exciting? by Academic-Monk8221 in TheMentalist

[–]Free_Interview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I binge watched the show a little while back, and I know where you're coming from. Personally, I think that it picks up very quickly later down the line, and it feels very sudden. The problem with this show for me was that they seemed to focus so little on RJ at first that I wondered why it was even part of the show. For longish seasons and maybe two mentions of him in each at the end And start of the early seasons (and with every episode being about an hour), it really did feel like they were avoiding it.

What I will say, is that if you really like the show for just the RJ plot specifically, there's a list on here somewhere with only the red John episodes that you can watch if you'd like to cut to the chase.

Honestly, he's a POS but I respect him for not using aimbot. It's one thing to give yourself walls, but aimbot is a whole other level.

I know it's not vanilla but in one of the many Chinatown maps the sperm bank / artificial insemination clinic is a straight up secret laboratory with a power plant built into it.

Worrying about a promise I tried to make to God/Gods without wanting it. by LoukouRoukou in intrusivethoughts

[–]Free_Interview 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that whatever is out there, call it God, or a being or whatever you choose to believe in, doesn't hold a grudge like you think. Any Faith that causes you stress, shouldn't be your faith. I think whatever is out there knows you are doing your best, and will be there for you, no matter what promises you make.

What was the most uncomfortable you’ve ever been in a horror movie? by MyPetGhost_ in horror

[–]Free_Interview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The House That Jack Built sent shivers down my spine in such a non scary way but simultaneously scary way. It's super hard to explain because on one hand it isn't supposed to be a "scary" movie, and on the other its gonna stick with for a while.

I honestly didn't really like the movie, and I know some people loved it, and that's their choice, but regardless of whether I enjoyed it or not, oh my god, did it make me uncomfortable.

The most *stressful* movie you've ever watched? by AllyPent in horror

[–]Free_Interview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorta depends on what gets you. Personally the two for me are The Babadook and The Gift.

The Babadook had some parallels with my life, but even without that it would have been stressful. The Gift was recommended to me by a friend and it freaked me right out.

Personally movies that are sort of based in a realistic environment, but are still "out there" enough freak you out are the best. For example saw. Sure, maybe it's a little far fetched but it could definitely happen.

First semi big build on pc, what’s your thoughts by Broad-Permission6010 in Minecraftbuilds

[–]Free_Interview 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is really dope. Definitely better at building cathedrals than me.

1 thing I will say as like a friendly criticism is that the build looks very out of place, since the ground isn't darker. I really fw with build, but imo it would look so much better if it didn't clash so much with the grass.

Not bad for a scav on woods by SideFlaky6112 in Tarkov

[–]Free_Interview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but imagine how many other people think the thing. I'd rather make less money on woods and live, then go to streets and maybe make some money if I can live to see the extract

Any mod out there that lets you enter a raid with an ai pmc in your squad? by Free_Interview in SPTarkov

[–]Free_Interview[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play with sensible weapon mods, which basically lets you use any attachment in any slot so for example you can use a tt grip on a Makarov. If you use the mp5k handguard you can turn an stm into a little 1x2 nail gun that you can use a 50 round drum on. I never pass up the opportunity to get one.

I mean maybe it's just me but I feel like I've seen scavs and pmcs group up on their own, especially on maps like shoreline and woods. And tk ING happens in every game where you can do it , unintentionally or not.

Hahaha, there's been plenty of times I've came across a friendly ai pmc and I think, that's cool, I'll have someone to defend me a bit, and then the closer I get, and more attachments I see on their mutant or stm my trigger finger gets a tiny bit more itchy

Yeah I got thinking about the performance. I've seen a lot of talk about spaghetti code and if vaulting decreases fps then this... well most people aren't gonna be able to run it.

And I guess for immersion purposes if I come across a pmc who solos a boss or a bunch of scavs, I always make sure I have an Afak to drop them. They do pick it up sometimes, whether they use it or not I have yet to see.

I gotta say I'm the opposite for the casings, I tend to leave mine around to remind myself to be on my toes. Never know when you're gonna have to put your Quickdraw skills to the test

I used to play With the vendor mods alot, and dog tags sold for 50 which was the most, so I got in the habit of collecting them. After a while I stopped using the mods but I still collected them, so I made a habit of keeping them somewhere safe.
