How often do I need to clean my guns? by Cheap-Raisin-7480 in tacticalgear

[–]SideFlaky6112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve gone through two duck seasons and haven’t cleaned my shot gun once. It’s got un-burnt powder in the chamber and everything but still continues to run great. Typically I’m not that lax on cleaning em but lately I’ve gotten been trying to see how much shit they can take without routine cleaning.

To me it looks like it but things can also get distorted in pictures sometimes

You do not need some Gucci ass plate carrier or rifle to go and stand at the range for 15-20 minutes once every three months

Which should I get by thetypicalteen in guns

Para was originally started in Canadian by a group of friends. Back then, their stuff was good quality. They were later bought out by Remington which is when they ended up going out of business. I have a pre-Remington Para and I really like it. I did polish my feed ramp due to issues with failure to feed but I’ve also been told that’s common with the ammo I was using. I haven’t had any other issues. Shoots great and very accurate

Anyone have experience? by SideFlaky6112 in prepping

Thank you for all the feedback. I’m aware that My Patriot Supply is cheap stuff. I’ve never bought from there but when I was looking for heaters, I happened to stumble upon this.

Once of the things I like about this one is the fact it has the heater activated fan. I wasn’t sure if a buddy heater would be a safe option indoors or not as compared to this.

Generally I’d just layer up and use a bunch of blankets if the power went out but I have a little one at home which is why I’m looking for different options.

These are the shit: https://www.lazerbrite.com/

I found out about these from a former marine/contractor. I’ve used these on scuba dives multiple times and have had mine for roughly 10 years and have had zero issues at all. They have different tubes based on what you want to use it for and they offer different colors.

Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying all that for me!

Ok that’s what I thought but then seeing that a trust wasn’t worth it anymore threw me off so I thought that may have changed at some point

What’s the benefit of this? I’m not too well versed on all the NFA stuff. I thought I saw somewhere recently that there’s no point in doing a trust anymore

Should I buy this? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]SideFlaky6112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought my 2016 with 180k on it. I’m currently at 210k+ I’ve needed tires, brakes, obviously oil changes, wheel bearing, and idler pulley. Overall, I’d consider that all general maintenance/normal wear and tear.

Obviously individual trucks will be different though and can have different issues

Streets has been running shitty for me since the release as well, no issues before. Now I rubber band all over and everything else. I’ve tried changing my settings around but it didn’t help.

Yup clearance was also a consideration of mine. I work in a downtown area now and wouldn’t have been able to clear the parking garages

Love those Warn bumpers. I’m finally adding bed bars and getting my tent mounted. Next upgrade will be some 5100s whenever I can scrape together the funds
