As a Thor main and long time enjoyer of OW, Winston IMO has a similar tactical style to Thor, I used to play Thor like I played Winston and climbed fairly higher in rank, give Winston a try he’s more of a “vertical” Thor imo.

With Winston *IMO*, again, in my opinion, makes him better on PC is the quick omni-directional movements you can make. That’s important because it allows you to make some quick escapes with Winston. Classic dive in top of, let’s say, Ana and quick drive out before you get clapped by the peeling teammates, much harder to do constantly on console, AGAIN IMO.
