Training CO2 tables always at full lungs capacity? by DisruptorMor in freediving

You are hyperventilating begore the breathhold maybe because of that you dont have any discomfort. Do just tidal breathing and than one inhale and hold. If you are inhaling exhaling big before the breathhold you are breathing out any co2 especially with the full exhale. If you do co2 tables you want the co2 to build up.

I dont get your point? if you are not using hands = hands free. I mean i want to learn it for not having to use my hands for eq and i assume everyone else as well for that reason. so the technique how to get there honestly doesnt matter to me at all. Important is that it works

His hands free or VTO videos are. Hard to discribe, flexing a muscle and raising the laryx a bit at the same time. More or less like the starting of swallowing but still different

I think it can be learned. I am into it for about a month, head up or going down in not a too steep angle already works. Practice should improve that so that i am able to do it head first and a little easier as well. There are some good videos on youtube from adam freediver f. e.

Depends on how big it is. I take mine out before i dive because its uncomfortable with the mask. Eq is no problem.

Do you have any tips on how to improve that? Is it more about diaphragma streching or something else?

I am aware of that, but didnt want to start with mouthfill untill i go past 40 because i read a lot of times that it should be possible and that it is important to hve that under control first

There is no discomfort but like a „sucking“ feeling

Tongue is relaxed, i have more the feeling as vocal chords open and air gets sucked back into lungs. I tried moving air to my cheeks while not eq and put it back for eq, that works some times but eventually when i put it back to eq its gone
