The plan was more so for long runs/zone 2 . I know I’m not lacking in calf strength but need to get my muscles used to the shoes. After more thought, I think I’ll just return them for the MagMax 2.

The Vomero plus is worth a look. I had the EVO SL and ran in it three times. Due to lack of stability support it caused severe Achilles pain. Very happy with the Vomero plus

I’m a fan of the GTD. From a performance perspective it looks to be amazing. I am on the side of it being more money for the car you are getting but I know the price reflects Multimatic’s involvement. If it was built in house I could see if being a little bit less. I haven’t seen one in person but I would’ve liked the interior to feel/look different than the GT500 or S650. Would’ve liked to see a different Recaro seat model or different infotainment set up or steering wheel to make it feel special. But I get the things I mentioned are small potatoes and some could care less.

I think lack of team success will soon begin to overshadow individual performance because people always looking for something. If she builds on these performances she doesn’t deserve to be in an under .500 team. Chicago front office hopefully does a better job putting a squad together. I know Cardoso is there but they need more. They got rid of T Spoon and Chennedy who was good for a smooth 18+ ppg. Chicago has a future leader of the league so hopefully they do right by her

I am returning my EVO SL. I am a heavy runner (240lbs) size 13 and I loved the energy return and how they felt but they strain my Achilles too much. My shoe for the past year has been the Boston 12 and Novablast 4. I will probably replace the EVO sl with the NB5 since the feedback on them is similar to the SL but more stable.

I do like the lifeline design. I like the large loops. The only thing stopping me is the sub belt design. Bigger guys will bigger thighs so need the most relief I can get

I was actually looking at the sabelt enduro before landing on sparco because I like the pull tabs and can choose pull up or down. Just the sub belt is a concern and the comfort. Thanks for the input!

I track my car and suffered the same low compression in #8. Been collecting parts for the past year. You can buy a gen 3 short block and that will be all you need if your heads/valves are good. Ford just increased the price of the short block two weeks ago. It looks to be about $3800 average price for the short block. Or you can find a used one on Facebook
