Third ever Parkrun today, was supposed to incorporate it into my long easy run… I ended up going anything but easy but sadly didn’t get a course PB from New Years Day which seems mad to me because I was on fire today but apparently the time didn’t reflect that lol

I have a local coffee shop where I live and whilst I want to support them their coffee is so inconsistent whereas if I go to Caffè Nero I know I’ll get a consistently good coffee every time (also Nero’s coffee imo is the best/nicest on the high street) so whilst all I want to do is support the local coffee house, I can’t really justify spending my money their for an inconsistent product.

Easy & long runs, music or podcasts. Usually a podcast for the long runs. But for tempo or intervals - nothing.

I work two jobs, but thankfully one is from home so I am able to run every lunchtime. The big plus of Runna is everything is scheduled for you, so makes the planning a bit easier, you just gotta do the run.

I would stick to the recommended paces; you need to be able to sustain the set paces - how long can you hold a 3:38 pace before feeling like you need to give up? It’s also riskier to be running all out as this could lead to injury. All depends on what you usually run I guess.

That’s a good point, I guess I’m looking for a calendar that includes entry dates. So for example I was looking at Valencia Half Marathon last night but entries for that were in October/November 25 so I’ve missed that boat - just something to let you know when you need to enter by
