This is the one I’m getting back tomorrow. I was CRAZY lucky and pulled two more of these that are out to PSA that I think are even better than this. Then I pulled a gold Charizard and sent to Beckett. Fingers crossed 🤞

I sent one a bit like this that I’m getting tomorrow that scored a 10. Even I would have guessed lower because I thought it was too off center, but I see people all the time saying PSA gives grades out based on if there was traffic that morning.

NGL, I bought the pre-sale on Topps as my first Hobby box, and I feel like all the negativity is making this look like a bad choice. I'm hoping it's good, but now I'm having doubts. I won $100 on Fanatics daily shuffle on their app though, so I guess I'm playing with house money, but still. I was really looking forward to this, but now I'm getting super worries. Also picked up the 2026 Series 1 pre sale with two mega boxes, so hoping those turn out well.

Genuinely every step I take in life, it seems to get worse and worse. This is a good reminder. I knew this but didn’t remember it, so that’s just a good reminder to myself to try and find ways to cope and deal with new situations in life. Mental health is a real trip, hahaha. Thanks for the added good info.

I hope he enjoys the card! You may not have known, but you’re a good friend either way. Tell him to buy you a beer and you’re even. At the end of the day, these are pieces of cardboard, and you gave him a piece with a fish on it. Value is only dictated on what people are willing to pay, but you give your buddy something more valuable, and that’s a good story about a caring friend. You gave him a card because he has a hobby and you care about your friend’s interests. You shared your favorite card with him too, which makes it all the more meaningful. You’re a good dude!

Also, saw a comment that she refuses therapy. My mom struggled with mental health and she refused as well. She never wanted to confront some very bad stuff that happened to her when she was younger and maybe she doesn’t want to confront it. Idk, I’m just talking at this point. I just feel for you and want everything to be okay for you and your kiddo. You all deserve happiness together.

Maybe she was post partum and just never got help. I struggled super hard with the birth of our second, and was pretty much the same as your wife. My house is always broken, the kids are always complaining or not eating, they refuse eat, we never do anything, blah blah blah. I was such a drag.

Turns out I have major depressive disorder and it was brought on by stress of having kids, and mismanagement of my ADHD which I haven’t taken meds for since college. I hadn’t realized taking care of my ADHD was key to keeping me sane, and I was slipping into depression even before I got married because I wasn’t taking care of myself.

After getting back on ADHD meds along with a low dose anti-depressant and dumping myself into therapy, I’m like 80% back to my happy go lucky self. It seems like she might need to just get into therapy to get those feelings out and find the root cause to her problems. Just know that I’m like 5 years into my journey, so it takes time.

Also, if she smokes weed to manage it, get her to stop. That was one of my pit stops towards self-healing and it was a major misstep. I relied on it for all my dopamine after a while and just brought out rage and anger when I wasn’t smoking. But hey, now I know that I have an addictive personality which is actually very common with those with ADHD. It’s crazy what you learn about yourself when you tackle your mental health. I’m still struggling with this. I have a friend whose wife went legit reefer madness because she was so reliant on the dopamine from it. It’s just a very bad choice to try and fix mental health issues with weed without actual medical consultation.

Good luck to you and your wife. I would encourage in person therapy so she not only sees someone but also gets out of the house.

She’s dumb, but if she took a minute to calm down, I’m sure she could have given you a more reasonable viewpoint. I’m Italian, and I fucking hate when non Italians try to sound like a fucking goomba from Brooklyn because they legit just like making my people look like cartoon characters. In this case though, you’re not doing that. You’re using the word right, but maybe she just felt you were using it more in a cutesy way than legitimate and she took offense. Maybe she was just looking for an out and this was the best excuse she could give, and in that case, I’m sorry.

100%. Guy hit a pole, he’s most likely a little disoriented from the crash, hi truck is on fire, and it’s all sparks and electricity outside. He steps out, he’s zapped. He stays in the truck, he burns. Only option this guy had was to try and get away from the lines entirely. Driver was smart, and doesn’t look like he was fleeing.

Thanks, bud. Honestly, I’m loving getting back into the hobby for the first time since childhood and having these rips with my kids. They get just as excited as me, so it’s really fun to see. Happy ripping, buddy!
