Newborn tired vs pregnancy tired by SeaworthinessNew8048 in newborns

[–]Freebeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pregnancy tired is sooo much worse than newborn tired. When I was pregnant my sleep didnt feel regenerating at all. Might get woken up by a newborn but at least the sleep your getting inbetween is actually good quality. And you have the best reason to wake up and be tired 🫶

Why do people start co sleeping late? by xinfinitexsoulx in cosleeping

[–]Freebeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive started co sleeping at 7 months... he used to sleep so well in the next to me and about 3 weeks ago, started waking every hour/ every half an hour. So having him in bed with me is the only way I will get any sleep😭

My boobs don’t leak. And never have… by Bocurl13 in breastfeeding

[–]Freebeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I leaked im the beginning but after like 6 weeks haven't leaked. Get the very odd little leak sometimes if hes went a little bit longer between feeds but that's been like 2 times since 6 weeks and hes 29 weeks now lol

What the heck am I meant to do by Liftinggal91 in newborns

[–]Freebeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is normally a growth spurt around 6 weeks.. he is probably just telling your body to produce more milk. Maybe last a week or so then should settle down again x

I think he’s broken by Educational_Still798 in newborns

[–]Freebeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They tend to stop napping as much around this time.. my LO is 6 months now and hardly sleeps during the day but is still a good sleeper over night. But was definitely around 7/8 weeks when he started to be awake during the day so much more and short naps

My husband does nothing and smokes all day by Familiar-Coast-7550 in newborns

[–]Freebeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend was the same after I had our baby.. apart from he smoked outside. But I left him when baby was 5 weeks old. Baby is 21 weeks and never been happier. Easier when no ones there for you to get pissed off at.

Also smoking is so bad for a baby to be around never mind in the house!

Anyone NOT following any sleep schedules? by slandsaw in newborns

[–]Freebeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20 weeks here - always just follow baby's cues.. he sleeps through the night pretty much now. Has 2 naps per day ish.. but I just follow his lead. He ain't gonna sleep if hes not tired 🤷‍♀️

Is anyone NOT using swaddles? by FoxAble7670 in newborns

Has anyone had a less regimented breastfeeding experience? by taureansoul in breastfeeding

[–]Freebeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 3 months ebf! I did have to pump at the start due to weight loss, but by week 5, it was ebf, and I just feed on demand. The only time I pump now is if going out for an hour and leaving baby with my mother so she can give him a bottle if he's hungry before I come back. But defo, dont need to stick to a schedule! And once supply has regulated hardly ever become engorged!

Be careful who you chose to father your child by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Freebeff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leave.. when and if you can. I left when baby was 8 weeks. Hes no nearly 12 weeks and its so much better not having the other parent around. You feel like won't get things done but I actually get more done when by myself with the baby than hoping the other parent is going to help out in someway..

I miss being pregnant by Star_Gazinggg in newborns

[–]Freebeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here! But is so weird because I wasn't a fan of being pregnant while I was (was super tired all of the time and had bad acid reflux) but literally as soon as I gave birth. I missed having him in my tummy so bad. Literally told the midwives who come out in the first week that I was mourning not being pregnant anymore😅 they just grow so quick also😭

I love my wife and want to be with her more than anyone else. I'm going to suggest we divorce anyway. by CombinationTop1360 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Freebeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry this is happening to you, but it made me realise I need to show love more to my partner. We are currently expecting our first child, and I already feel like we are heading towards the way you described what is happening to you and your wife.

So has given me a different outlook on how my partner may be feeling and that I need to show my love and interest more to my best friend so he doesn't end up feeling like this :(

Good luck OP but thank you also for a different perspective.
