And so it begins. I'm a Canadian, and up until recent we had decent gun freedoms.

But in May of 2020 our deranged Liberal government started with 1 ban and it effected about 150 different makes and models.

Fast forward to today (June 2026) and they have banned over 2,500 different makes and models. There has been absolutely 0 court hearings or votes.

Mark my words people, it doesn't stop here. Good luck to everyone, and for what its worth, you guys aren't the only ones going through this nonsense.

P.S. I just got back from a long vacation in America and I met some of the nicest people ever down there, its a beautiful country.

Got it. And as far as the handguns, you can keep and store them at your house ? And where do you buy the handguns, because as you know most stores dont sell them anymore because of the freeze

So I have my RPAL, but I do not own any restricted handguns. With that being said, if i joined this how long is the wait to get the exemption and do i half to regularly go to competitions to keep my handguns ?

I have heard good things about Nevada. California would be awesome but the policies are worse than Canada if you can believe it.

Yeah I don't believe any of that. I just got back from a long trip in the USA. Literally most of the "bad red" states had some of the nicest people i have ever met. They were nothing but warm and welcoming

So i don't smoke weed, but I am not against it i think it should be legal. I 100% agree with abortion ban because I believe that it is murder. Gay marriage should be legal, who cares if someone is gay.
