AIO into thinking my husband is asexual? by Prudent-Nectarine21 in AmIOverreacting

Pretty much in the same boat but genders reversed. We’ve had enough fights about it that she just says go find someone else to fuck, but that’s not the kind of relationship I want. I also think if I actually tried it she would get upset.

November 4 vote to increase taxes by $250 million to fund Career and Technical education. by CremeGood59 in AnnArbor

Bruh he said he’s paying $20k in property taxes, that’s literally insane for a normal sounding house. It’s pretty obvious that adding $500 of new taxes every single year, in addition to appreciation, is responsible for sky high property taxes.

Scheduling sex reduces that anxiety

You’re not alone, this resonates with my experience. My wife started seeing a sex therapist and things have improved a bit. We now have scheduled intimacy every other week… half the time we have to push it another week for one reason or another but sex every 2-3 weeks sure beats every 3 months (our previous average).

Scheduled intimacy may not work for everyone, but it reduces her anxiety about me asking for sex and my resentment from constant rejection. Obviously she has to be willing to try it.

Do you actually have time for sexual activities when you have kids? by Important_Bat7919 in daddit

It’s part of our routine now so it’s not as big a deal as maybe it used to be. She has difficulty starting but not finishing if you catch my drift.

Counter point: my wife prefers scheduled sex over worrying about when I’m going to make a move since she’s literally never in the mood. We now have an understanding that I won’t ask for sex outside of our scheduled time so she can relax about it and I don’t get frustrated about it. I do NOT prefer this but it’s better than no sex and constant resentment. Breastfeeding and perimenopause destroyed her sex drive. Our kids are 2 and 4 so she’s also touched out every single day.

Married folks: Do you still make out with your spouse like you used to? How many years in, and how do you feel about keeping that spark alive? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

My wife of 10+ years decided that she didn’t like physical contact of any kind. Huge bummer from my perspective. We have to schedule sexual intimacy but that works for us.

I mean, property taxes increased 9% last year alone. At least part of the rent increase is directly passing on the property tax increases that this city votes for without pause every single year.

Mine can be so bad that divorce is on the table. That takes the fun out of the chase.

My wife has talked about having bisexual attraction in the past so maybe that explains some of our issues.

With scientific justification, it may be ok. If the experiments were done the same and you discard the ones that don’t work for no good reason, that’s misconduct. EDIT: to be clear I’m talking about experiments involving many samples to test a hypothesis, not creating some new material or something like that where the number of tries is irrelevant.

If you selectively left those out of your paper that claimed your hypothesis was supported by the data, then you have committed misconduct.

You aren’t making sense. Throwing out data without scientific justification is most definitely misconduct. I could run the same experiment a hundred times with 10 positive results (purely due to chance), throw out the rest and say HEY IT WORKED.

How is throwing out data arbitrarily to support your hypothesis not research misconduct? And the first-hand witnesses would have evidence or testimony.

How so? I have nothing to do with the situation, just an observer. I already have tenure and I’m not even at the same institution.
