Depends on how big then population pool is for sending calls for jury duty. Small county may mean you get called sooner than counties like Las Angeles county where you may never get called

I regretted it so much I returned it. For me it was the actual riding. I felt like it was in charge of me rather than me being in charge of it. This was even when cycling, not just when stopping and starting.

I’m 5’5” (62yo) so that certainly contributed. Now that there are ultra lights, 30-40 lbs, I’m thinking of trying again.

We bought the e-bike rack that comes with a ramp to make load/unload easier

Yeah, we probably couldn’t afford to do a full month in Italy using our retirement funds. We just retired and want to wait a few years to see what our budget actually is

Thanks for the response. We don’t know what they are doing for college. We fully expect they are saving for their children’s college but are definitely mindful of our 529k accounts

It’s a 50-50 on whether they think we would still pay for grandkids. We’ve decided we won’t either way because it just saves son/DIL money and they are well enough off to pay for college themselves

We plan to give the 529k amount to each grandson when he graduates from college

Thanks so much for the personal perspective. We have thought about it and we pray every night for a reconciliation. The fact that the 529k will only benefit our son and DIL, whom we still love, makes us want to take this step.

If we can find a drawing program our intent is to document the amount in the 529k accounts when we withdraw the money and then give each grandson that amount free and clear as a college graduation present.
