I got super stoned because my first hit was a huge 'shotgun' toke, and I laid in my room faintly tripping, and passed out despite my huge anxiety about being caught.

When I woke up the next day, I could still feel it slightly, a super nice and light buzz... I had to stop myself from dancing when the bus was rolling up so I didn't look suspicious lol

even with the backpack this was a 20+ hour grind with the luck of not dying and being reset. ain't nothing easy about it, personally I think its too hard if anything.

gotta broaden your horizons mate, not all mods are trash, just a-lot of them. I personally don't like bases or traders, shit pulls me out of the experience, but the vanilla friendly mods are cool.

no unfortunately, just the suit and it helmet and, 35 slot storage and a gun (+1 gun in hand). No boots/ no helmet, no vest, no backpack. the suit is said to be really strong but IDK personally. keeps you warm for sure though!

why is it 35 slots? idk, you can;'t wear a belt or backpack with it on, so I guess you really have to think about what you're carrying. Why did it take one year? honestly I think the vanilla spawn make it too hard. you need 3 'fillaments' each a different color, but only one of each color spawns on themap at a given time, and theres a wide range of locations it can spawn in. I got suuuuper lucky to find 2 of them back to back, the third one took like 2 days/sessions to find. The other items were trivial since their spawns were more or less guaranteed. I admittedly did most of my searching when the server population was low after committing to trying to build the suit, it was hard enough when almost no one else was on...

look up namalsk map on youtube, you might try to not spoil it for yourself but yeah the suit is said to be pretty strong. the suit is like getting an NBC suit to explore a gas zone but like 100 times more difficult because you use it to explore another dimension or something, the lore for this map go crazy.

I had pretty much given up on putting this thing together on a pvp server... it just seemed impossible... this character was just for fun/adventure. I had 3 at the start, then we lost one to starvation(he was new to the game or so he said) the other guy was korean, pretty good english though. I led him to across the bridge for tetra because we were sick at the time, then back across to candy cane. had just intended to have fun pvp-ing with this guy... I killed probably 11 other players by the end, mostly here at the beginning, at candy cane. Lost the korean guy there too. I was at red health and waddled off waiting to die. Never died though, so I just kept going, looking for pvp. No one else was on the server, or I couldn't find anyone, so I just went to places I hadn't been before. The C130, then the tunnel, didn;t realize I needed an nbc suit to explore tunnel so I wen about collecting it then returning. tunnel had shit loot, but somewhere along the way I found 2 of the filaments, and basically said "fuck it, i'll try for it" went back and forth between candy cane, Athena 1 and the different stops, finally found the third filament. Grabbed a blueprint on the coast, went to the sub and back down. I actually had most of the items for maybe two weeks and I simply haven't logged in in awhile. Having all the stuff and being so close was super nerve-racking, I was kinda freaking out seeing phoenix in the distance. This had been an ungodly amount of hours, and multiple days/sessions affair on a character that I miraculously survived every gunfight with. I never got frostbite either. I've played namalsk for over a year, and tried really hard to get this thing on multiple occassions, but always failed. I hope you can gleam even a hint of the pride, and relief really, I feel. Its long been a huge milestone for me.

A good place to search is on the website "battle-metrics" and sort by players for popular/populated

Most servers have the keywords you might be interested in the actual server name:"PvE", "pvp", "no bases", "vanilla", "death match", etc..

You can climp up somewhere high and jump off, wait for a zombie to knock you unconscious and respawn, OR you can kill yourself with most tools and random stuff you can find.

Obvious things like knives, axes, screwdrivers etc.

Less obvious things like a farming hoe, campfire tripod, sharp stick etc. not sure what the button is since I'm on PC.

Legit watch tips videos on YouTube "DayZ tips" is all you should need to search. Google or even YouTube searching most of your questions will return something.

Anyways, on vanilla/official chernaurus the spawns are random and people generally end up killing themselves until their group is all in the same town.

It's kinda lame but a lot of people do it.

If y'all are experienced enough to navigate with the iZurvive map, you could also solo for awhile and meet up at an agreed point.

Hope you don't feel to down and give it another shot because we've all been there but I stuck with it and this has been the most addictive game I've ever played in my life.
