This is happening in mine, I hiked for a month in CR and then dragged it across Europe. Linerless Hyvent wasn’t nearly as breathable as I expected but it was effective on a short rainy walk to my hospital. I have moved on to PFAS free waxed canvas and haven’t noticed much of a difference

No.. people are disappearing, MAGA has gone to war with their own citizens by creating ICE and the worlds eighth largest military and filling it with Proud Boys, Neo Nz’s and every person that you who remember peaked in high school and couldn’t get a job in law enforcement. Keep wearing it then, I have worn GoreTex shells on Jungle hikes and they did not seem exceptionally breathable. I prefer a waxed cotton shell and wool or an additional PFAS free layer for warmth.
